I was very impressed they almost had 5 stars! So I decided to check them out. Gave them a call they answered right away and were able to schedule an initial checkup appointment for me that same week! As I went into the office I noticed it was very clean and even had courtesy water for me. In addition the staff were so welcoming Jasmin checked me in and reassured to me that I was in good hands since I mentioned to her I was terrified of going to the dentists after some bad experiences. In the end I was scheduled to come back for some dental work, I was kinda nervous but the staff were so supportive! I was able to relax throughout the entire process. The doctor was very patient with me and throughout my procedure I was in absolute no pain. I can now safely say I am no longer scared of the dentist! Thanks to the office of James Y. I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office and would not recommend it…read more I came here for a deep cleaning and dental fillings. One of my biggest concerns was the cleanliness and the lack of professionalism I observed during my visits. While I was being given local anesthesia, the dental assistant and dentist were chatting with each other throughout the procedure, which made me feel that they were not giving the treatment their full attention. During my last visit, another male patient came into the office to complain about what he believed were unsanitary practices that had resulted in inflammation or infection around his tooth. Hearing this while I was there made me even more concerned about the hygiene standards of the office. More importantly, since having the deep cleaning done here, I have noticed a significant deterioration in how my teeth feel. I developed considerable sensitivity to both hot and cold, and my teeth now feel much more sensitive and problematic than they did before the treatment. I cannot say medically what caused these problems, but the change after my treatment here has been very noticeable and concerning. Based on my personal experience with the cleanliness, professionalism, and the condition of my teeth following treatment, I would not return to this dental office and cannot recommend it to others for sure.

Dr. Chen was very friendly and professional. He asked me a bunch of questions to see what I going for and really took the time to answer all of my questions since I knew nothing and had alot to ask! I really wanted invisilign since I feel braces at my age can be a nuisance. Dr. Chen was very honest and upon examining my teeth told me my smile was actually OK and if I were to proceed with straightening, braces would be faster and much more cheaper. I really appreciate it when professionals don't sell me hard, it makes me want to come back and give me their business! Overall, Dr. Chen was very attentive to my needs. In the end he convinced me that braces or invislign wasn't very necessary nor worth the small reward I would get for the time and money invested but was still willing to perform work if I really wanted it. I was very shocked at the same time pleased to hear that my teeth are cool coming from an orthodontist. Just to be sure, I had to ask him several times if my teeth are ok or if he was just telling me that. Then he went on to explain what he typically sees in patients before suggesting braces to them - none of which he saw in me. It was very satisfying to know I did not need them. I still didn't want to walk away empty handed, I noticed my teeth were slightly jagged in the front and asked to shave them down to which he agreed. I am very satisfied with my results and very pleased with all of Dr. Chen's advice and services. Setting an appoint was EASY and the wait was not long! I really like that. Major Key Alert.

Dr. Chen is extremely detailed and made sure my smile was perfect. At the beginning of the treatment, he explained every step of the process to ensure I was comfortable with the treatment plan. He laid out all the options (different braces, Invisalign, etc) very clearly so that I could make an educated decision. And every follow up check in I went to over the last year, he took his time and never tried to rush me out the door even when it was busy. I've had a root canal and a crown placement so far and I'm scheduled for some more work (sadly I neglected my teeth for a while due to fear and lack of time) and I know that Dr. Kim will take care of me. His credentials are also phenomenal. He's an extremely accomplished person in his field and yet his bedside manner is excellent. His staff are also lovely, his dental assistant has the same reassuring and sweet demeanor. The front office lady is really good about calling you before your appointment to remind you, which is great for a forgetful person like me. I drive 45 minutes to go the this dental office because it's worth the drive.
