Check whatever box you want on the form they send you but it means nothing once they have your credit card on file. I had a generator rebuilt, but the impeller was not replaced, after sitting on there work bench for 5 months resulting in additional costs. After spending $15,000 on the initial rebuild, I was quoted an additional $3,000 to fix the impeller issue. That should have been done while on there bench. However, I found an alternative service provider who completed the repair for half the cost. He was outraged at what they wanted to charge me. (The mechanic said they have a very bad name in the industry.) This experience has led me to question their pricing practices. Over the course of two years, I have spent $30,000 on their services. Despite this, they did not provide any complimentary services, such as a startup for my boat in the beginning of the season but had the balls to tell me they pulled my boat and tied it up, but sent some stupid shit in the mail as a thank you. lol. Furthermore, when I encountered issues with a rebuilt pod, I was asked to pay for the repair. They installed my exhaust wrong so no water came out the exhaust, if they threw in the start up they would have seen that. I would strongly advise others to explore alternative options. It appears that their business practices prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. As a business owner myself of a 4 generation company I understand the importance of providing quality service and value to customers. Giving a little back goes a long way. THEY ARE NO GOOD. (Please don't respond that you're sorry to hear my disappointment. You give nothing back to your customers but take and take! )

Well early april turned into mid May after loosing my paperwork the boat was completely filthy bimini top for some reason was removed and tech told me could not figure out how to put it back together. Ok i took it cleaned and waxed my wife put bimini on. ( I paid for wax and cleaning ) Shortly after taking boat we noticed it was running hot took it back for service the NIGHTMARE continued. First guy trying to repair boat went on vacation in JULY? Second guy trying to fix boat was bitten by a spider? Finally after three weeks they said it was fixed but Nick said it would not rev or plane? Worked when I brought it in just saying? I have been with them since, paying about $2 to $3 thousand per year on services. After the winter service in late 2021, I was informed that they accidentally damaged my boat with the fork lift, punching a hole in one of the pontoons. I didn't make a fuss and just asked them to repair/replace the damaged part. They finally informed me that they completed the replacement in early spring (beginning of April). What they neglected to tell me was that they removed the shrink-wrap protecting the boat and thereby exposing my pontoon boat to the elements, for at least 1-2 weeks. With freezing rain still coming down in early April, the removal of the shrink wrap was damaging to the seating surfaces on the pontoon. I wasn't happy about it, but again, I made little fuss. But when I took the boat back to my dock, I noticed there was a small scratch on my boat. I tried to contact Baywood multiple times, with pictures of the damage and got absolutely no response, and this despite me being their customer for the last 3 years. Of course, I will not be servicing my boat with Baywood anymore.

Changed out multiple good parts that were covered under the warranty and never submitted the paperwork for it even though they said they did, confirmed that nothing was submitted with Suzuki warranty. Boat came back filthy, they couldn't even bother to wipe down the fingerprints or clean up the boot prints, and I definitely do not recommend Benchmark Suzuki for service.
