Very dissatisfied with repair service. Brought boat in for service in the Fall, said they completed the work and boat is still not operational. New service manager has been uncooperative in solving any issues about the repair that he said was completed. Boat is still not usable. read more

We are slip customers and enjoy the location of the marina because it's so close to our house. The staff is USUALLY** very helpful minus the people in the store. The marine store has the WORST retail hours known to man.. barely open.. You would think they would stay open at height of the season in July on weekends but nope they are closed.. They left the door open and I went in one day assuming that meant they were open and I had two younger male employees that were so rude to me. Really left a bad taste in my mouth especially as a slip customer. read more

I rented a pontoon boat for the day from here and it was horrible. First of, they told us that we could not take the bot to F cove where we wanted to go and this was information I wish I was given when I called to make the reservation because I would not have rented from there. We took the boat around a bit before heading to tices (since we couldn't go to f cove) and they followed us which was very upsetting and disrespectful. They told us on the contract we signed (when we got there) that it was noted that we could not go to f cove but I'm sure if we then cancelled they would have charged me. When we were on the boat we realized there was no latter which made it difficult for my friends and I to get in and out of the water and they made an excuse about why they did not tell us earlier. ALSO, when we stopped the boat at tices the boat took on tons of water (legit all of our stuff was almost ruined and our friend fell into the water) and when we told the kid who picked up the boat he said that the boat did seem off but then another worker on the dock said it was probably because we had to many people but we had the exact amount? Btw the boat was very dirty. The people working there were SO rude and my friend left his phone on the boat and when they went back to get it the man on the phone didn't realize the other guy had them on speaker and our friend heard them say "f**ck them make them come and get the phone. Will never be renting from here again. read more

This place was really enjoyable to deal with, except for a nasty text sent by one of the employees at the end. The day started out great, the staff was extremely accommodating, we rented a pontoon and we realized that the speakers did not work so they gave us another boat. We had a blast out on the water. When we got back I should of been more meticulous in inspecting the boat as to see that it was not left in a bad condition. I thought we removed all the trash. I assumed everything was fine since both employees entered the boat and I paid the gas at the counter. But apparently not because on my drive home I receive a text from "Dan" on how we should never bother to come back and so on. Its a shame, we enjoyed it thoroughly and would of enjoyed renting here again. read more

This place deserves to be closed ! As a business owner I understand how disappointing it is to receive a bad review but this is just something that needs to be addressed. Staff was beyond rude, it seemed that it was a bother for them for us to be renting from them, $500 later and was charged an extra 250 on my card... please look into other rentals before choosing this disgusting place. read more

My boat was in for repairs and wanted to rent a boat because I had guest come down for the day. I contacted Ocean Beach Marina (because I live in the area) to rent a pontoon boat for half day. I made reservations a week in advance. The price online was $450 and I was under the impression everything was included. Even though this price was high I didn't want to change the plans I had originally made with our friends so I reserved the boat. I arrived at the Marina a Half hour early. The checkin person showed me a different price of $500, he proceeded to try and multi-task answering phones fielding other people's questions while doing a poor job of attending to me. The boat was beat up, ripped seats, dented sides, and I was being charged while they were still preparing my paperwork. No safety briefing was provided on the locations of life jackets.
