My car had a weird problem where all the lights on my dash would light up while I was driving, so I went in to figure out what was wrong. They worked for over an hour to try and help me, and when they were done, they straight up told me that they couldn't figure it out and wouldn't charge me for it, when they could have easily made some excuse to do unnecessary work. (To be fair, even the car manufacturer couldn't figure it out, and other places tried to charge me a LOT of money to fix what turned out to be a wiring problem from a previous repair center in Mckinney). I went in for a brake job, and they slapped on some cheap Chinese parts that had my car shaking like a paint mixer. Took it back *four times* before they finally installed something halfway decent. Then, surprise--calipers started leaking, and now they're trying to upsell me on more repairs for damage they likely caused. Took my Ranger there for safety check, and asked if they could check brakes as they sort of locked up on cold and wet mornings. They said I needed a whole litany of brake parts, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, etc. Said the whole thing would run a little over $900.00. So, I agreed to them fixing my problem. And, after a couple of days of not driving my truck, I drove it. Same thing was happening, brakes locking up after first driving it. Now, I'm wondering if they even replaced parts that they said were replaced. I went back there and told them that they didn't fix any thing. I wasted $900.00 on nothing. Edited to add I finally got ahold of someone there, and 2 people proceeded to tell me my husband had lied and when I said we would be taking our business elsewhere the manager said "that's probably best". They clearly don't care about their customers. Visit at your own risk! I highly recommend taking your car anywhere else for any tire problem. My husband visited them Monday because his tire light had been on a couple of days and he had to make a business trip to Dallas this morning (Tuesday). 2 people there claimed it was just the cold, his tires were fine, and aired up his tires for him. Fast forward to this morning and my husband's tire is completely ruined, and thank God he didn't get into an accident on his way to work. He went there when he got back, showed them this picture, and they claimed there was nothing they could do except offer $11 off a new tire when they refused to look at this one to begin with. FYI, a "perfectly fine tire" (according to them) doesn't just do this so clearly there was something wrong to begin with. ‼‼‼ DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT take your vehicle to Sherman Tire & Service next to Chase Bank. They had my vehicle for since early July of last year, and did NOTHING with it! I took it in because it had a check engine light, with the understanding that it would only take a couple of days to fix it. Now mind you, it is a Carshield case, so there are records that they are needing, to be able to approve the repair or replacement of the motor. They kept giving me the tin spend, saying that they are doing what Carshield is asking of them, and they are waiting in Carshield to get back to them. So on, and so forth. For the last 247 days I was lied to and told they are working on it. I FINALLY decided to have it taken to a Dodge dealership, and they have always been in contact with me more than the Sherman Tire & Service did. The only contact I had with them, was when I CALLED THEM! The only time they called me was when I put a bad review on BBB. As I said, I had it towed to a Dodge dealership yesterday, and I find out that Sherman Tire & Service did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with the vehicle. Carshield was requiring a tear down and diagnosis, which Sherman Tire & Auto said they did, and sent the results to Carshield. They lied! Carshield hasn't had any contact with them since November. I called on Monday, and Carshield said they would contact the shop and request info. They did this 4 TIMES, AND ALL 4 TIMES, they were hung up on. The shop is lazy and doesn't want to do their job! I don't even know where to start with this company. My brother in law brought my husband's car here on November 3rd because he needed lugs replaced. My husband and I both work and our schedules made it very difficult to get the car there ourselves. Only lugs needed to be replaced. There were ZERO service lights on in the car at the time of drop off. On November 5th my husband picked his car up and when he started it, his ABS light turned on (which again had not been on previously). The employees had also locked the doors behind him so he wasn't able to address the issue right away. Due to our schedules we were only able to go back on November 11th. During this time we were unable to drive his car because of this service light being on and the way it can affect transmission. When we brought it in we were quoted a price of around $250. On November 12th I called and the manager told me that it was in his notes that the initial reason the car was brought in was for the service light, which is false. He then told me he'd need to find the file and take a look and call me back. If he didn't see the file I'm not sure why he said that it said the light was the original issue. They were back and forth on everything they said the whole time we communicated. I waited until the next day and never received a call. I called again and was told he'd call me as soon as he finished with the customer he was with. After an hour and a half I was getting extremely frustrated so I called again and was finally able to speak to the manager. He argued again that the reason we brought it in was for this light that wasn't on when the car was taken. He asked me to come on Monday (today) and told me he'd look at it himself and discuss everything with me. I came in today and had to wait over an hour and half. During this time there were employees smoking at the front desk, making and answering calls with customers on speaker (loudly), and not to mention how run down the building looked. There were even nail clippings on the floor where we were sitting. After the guy having to ask me about 3 or 4 times within the hour which side of the car the issue was on, I finally was called to the counter. The worker told me the car was fixed and I was good to go which confused me seeing as I was told the manager would be discussing this all with me before it happened and nobody ever told me they were starting this work. The guy wanted me to pay to which I said no because I was supposed to speak with someone before this happened. He told me multiple times he would just call my husband to discuss payment which was extremely rude. Eventually he said he'd go get the manager and then came back inside by himself and asked if my husbands phone number started with XYZ and I said yes it does but I'm the one who's here so he could speak to me. He then proceeded to dial my husbands phone number and when I said he's working while the phone was ringing the guy looked at me and ignored what I said. The manager FINALLY came inside and told my husband they'd take care of the situation and hung up. The man who helped me up until this point was very rude and unprofessional. He then also said to me "Do you even know where this sensor is located" with an attitude. The manager then told me that at this point they'd eat the cost of it all and that the sensor issue was just a "coincidence". The way this entire situation was handled was very unprofessional and it's safe to say I will not be going back. While we were waiting a lady came in who also told us about an issue she had with them in which they tried to charge $2000 and the issue ended up actually being that they didn't tighten her bolts properly which she only found out by going somewhere else. She dropped of her car there for an inspection at 10:30 and at 2:30 I heard the man helping her say sorry he forgot to do it. Clearly they are an issue for multiple people. read more

This Goodyear Service Center is not to be trusted for their repairs. Even the manager is not a man of his word. In October 2017, I had my '57 Chevy "supposedly" repaired by two of their mechanics, at a cost of $4,240.91. After my car was transported to California, where I live, I took it for a ride and it stalled. This happened over and over until I finally took it to a local mechanic (whom I have been with for 41 years). I had to spend over $4,700 to correct their mistakes, replace parts they had installed, and address problems that their bill stated had been fixed. My California mechanic stated that I could have been hurt by their faulty repairs, including brake failure. This was due to one of the new brake hoses leading to the brakes. It was too long, and as the wheels turned, the hose eventually developed a hole in it and my master cylinder lost all of the brake fluid. My wife and granddaughter, along with myself, were in the car when the brakes failed and we could have seriously been injured. Another disrepair was the "new" radiator which the Sherman Tire mechanics installed. They failed to tell me that they dented it while installing it. Really? The list goes on and on. The repairs were supposed to be under warranty but there was no Goodyear in this area that could work on a '57 Chevy. Therefore, I took it to my mechanic whose shop is 45 miles from my home. I also contacted Goodyear headquarters and their insurance representative. They sent me a refund of $1,702.03, hardly adequate. Goodyear Customer Service stated that the matter may have to extend to small claims court since Sherman Tire and Service is independently owned. This is a WARNING to stay away from this Service Center if anyone lives in or near Sherman, Texas. read more

This store is exactly why, I as a female, hate getting my car serviced! I told the tech (Jon ) I needed a new battery. Before he even inquired about the mileage on my car or even looked at my car, he said no you need an alternator. My car was only 2 years old. When I pushed and told him no I needed a battery not an alternator and if I needed an alternator, I was going to the dealership, he relented and agreed yes, I probably only needed a battery. The music in the bay area was so loud, I could feel it inside the waiting area. The mechanics I saw were all drinking Red Bull and vaping. It looked like they were still hung over from Thursday night. I will never go back to the place. read more

I went to this location because they were said to have the specific oil I needed for my differential. They tried to over sell me on things I did not need nor asked for. And tried to justify it by showing me an incorrect model for a "visual" on what is wrong, basically treating me like a child. Until finally 2 hours later they decide to change the differential oil which is what I came in for in the first place. I sat in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours for something that was quoted to me to only take 30 minutes. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Got my truck towed there on a Thursday morning after being told they would take a look at the car that day. Waited patiently for them to give us a call and when we hadn't heard anything all day we called 10 minutes before closing to find out that the truck had not been looked at and would be looked at on Friday, which we let slide figuring they were busy. Then we called twice on Friday, not hearing from them at all and just kept getting the run around that the technician was in the middle of running diagnostics and on lunch and they would call when they got back. After two hours we called again to see if the technician was back from lunch and he was, but still running diagnostics. We ended up not hearing from them again that entire day on Friday. Come Saturday morning we called about 2 hours after they opened to find out that they were just now pulling it into the shop to get diagnostics ran, but never got an update after that on Saturday. We decided we had had enough and went in today, Monday, and told them we were done and taking the Truck elsewhere. We got the truck towed to JJ Rush Performance in Pilot Point, where we had answers in about 2 hours and already have parts being shipped in to fix the truck. I am so not sure if this was the one we went to or not.....if it is,...it's like in old town Sherman, and the service was Excellent!!!........Was in my little Suburu, headed back to Pensacola from Colorado with a couple childhood friends....and the dang back tire started makeing weird noise and stuff.....They checked it out.....Back shock was shot to hell along with the brake......but......it would get us there just fine......Did not charge me one dime for checking it out, and,.....they checked the fluids and cleaned the bug guts off the windshield!!......I am telling you, these guys are awesome!! Took it there for inspection 2 years ago. They told me I needed new ball joints. It had been creaking a bit, so we got it done. Driving home the next day the car feels loose. Take it back. "Oh it wasn't aligned". Feels ok for a bit, then starts to feel loose again. Take it back. Now they say it's my strut mounts. I take it home, and have a guy come to my house and he tells me not only are my strut mounts fine, but that all six of the bolts were loose on the brand new ball joints/control arms. Sherman Tire put lock tight on them. I took it back 5 times to try get them to replace. (At this point, the ball joints are also leaking grease) because my car has felt like garbage since they put on. The last time I went, I also asked to have it inspected (yes again, dealing with it for a year at this point) and they tell me my power steering fluid is leaking onto a belt.($900!) Firstly, this has nothing to do with inspection, secondly, my car has electric power steering, so NO FLUID. I took it somewhere else and it passed. No leaks! These guys are either terrible mechanics, or they are seriously ripping people off. Oh, and my car still creaks. read more
