After an exhausting week, the last thing I wanted was to go get my tire fixed . But here I am. Saw the reviews and was a little concerned, but this was the closest store. From walking in the door to walking out: the service is spot on. Every person I saw come in and leave were treated extremely well. Every customer was updated on the status of their service. They definitely have a system and it works well. Highly recommend this store. read more

A bad day made better by Jacob and Trey today. Thank you for going the extra mile. They were really busy, but still found a way to provide great service and got me on my way! read more

I went it to get my tires looked at as I have had them for a lot less than the warranty says and they were wearing very badly. They gave me money back towards my new tires and I got top tires for a fantastic price. Both Logan and Tyler were extremely helpful and friendly when I came in and were very informative. I appreciate the great customer service from them! Even when busy they take the time to ensure each customer has a great and personable experience. read more

Today, I got a flat tire on the highway. I changed to the "donut" tire and drove straight to the nearest Discount Tire location, which happened to be in Sherman, TX. It was crazy HOT outside, like 103 (without the heat index), that I almost passed out! Discount Tire was swamped, but I had to wait, as I was too far from home! I was warmly greeted, checked in, offered cold water, and waited (not long). I appreciate your team's patience and understanding during such a busy time. Trey was the tech who assisted me and made me feel like he cared. He explained the process and possible outcomes (depending on the severity of the flat) and then went to evaluate. When he returned, he kindly shared options and didn't try to "push" me into expensive tires; I greatly appreciated that! We found a good resolution, and I (and my three grandchildren) were on our way in no time. I had cooled down and smiled as I headed out the door. My family has been a loyal Discount Tire customer for years, and today's event is just one reason. Customer service is essential, but safety is (should) always come first! Thank you, Discount Tire (and Trey). You made me feel like a valued Customer! read more

Yall can improve Service and more accurate timing. Guy told me to stay a few minutes and I'll be taken care of.....2 hours later im still here and from the looks of it the last customer. I arrived at 5 and here it is 7pm. I sat and watched people come and go....Never again. read more

I booked an appointment for only a tire rotation at 4:30pm I showed up 10 min early and just checked in. Then I was told I had to wait an HOUR FOR APPOINTMENTS. Which makes no sense then what's the point of making an appointment. Then a hour passes by then my car finally pulls up to the bay and the manager (Marshall) walks in and is telling the employees that my car wasn't even supposed to be brought in and if it wasn't accidentally brought in I definitely would have STAYED EVEN LONGER. And all this waiting while by appointment by the way, for 10 minutes of work at most and then I was done. Because they accidentally brought my car in. NEVER wanna go to this location again TOOK WAY TOO LONG. read more

Let me talk about tires, I know nothing about. We have always used Discount Tire in Waxahachie, Texas. But since Covid we have been staying at our lake home in Oklahoma. So we called to make an appointment but the tires we needed they only had 3 in stock at this Sherman, Texas location. The employee assured my husband he would have the additional tire there the next morning. And to our surprise the tire arrived. So all I know is I have another new set of Goodyear Eagle GT low profile tires, and they look awesome on my car. The other thing I know is they are very professional, and value their customers. I know this personally because I am hell on these low profile tires. But love the look on my car. Thank you Discount Tire again, and again, and AGAIN!!!! read more

Wow! Great service ... no games... fair price. What more could you want? Thanks Guys! read more

Refused to fix a flat with a nail in the middle of the tire going to take my business elsewhere for now on

Had an appointment and was in and out within the hour. Great customer service and hospitality. Some customers came in without an appointment and had to wait and they were honest with them and gave them a clear timeline. Well ran. read more

Customer service was above and beyond stayed open late to road hazard tire I was in and out of there within 15 minutes with 4 new tires manager and all the guys working did a wonderful job. We will be back read more

Awful customer service. The tires they sell are low quality and won't last much longer than a year before they milk you for a few hundred more dollars. read more

My daughter brought her car in to have 2 new tires put on and on the corner where her tire was place something was dropped on her windshield and broke the glass. They of course denied any responsibility. She was the last there so they left after handing her the keys. She noticed as soon as she got in her car and tried to find someone to tell them. I called first thing the next morning and all has been denied based on they didn't replace windshield blades. Take pictures and videos before you decide to leave your car for service!!!!! read more

Discount Tire - Proof of how long I had to wait to have ONE TIRE DONE. - Tires Near Me - Sherman, Texas

I scheduled an appointment at 5:30 but was running late and didn't arrive until 5:58 (they close at 6.) I had called ahead to let them know I was still on my way, they greeted me by name and helped me right away. 2 new mid-level highway tires for $225 on a Kia Telluride...I'm so happy with my experiences here, I'm a customer for life. read more

Had a flat fixed yesterday... was still leaking today from the fix. Wes at the Sherman TX location went ahead and replaced my tire for free! Discount Tire LIVES by taking care of their customers. Thank you, Wes!!! Keep up the outstanding work! read more

I've been a patron of this store for 12 years and four cars now, but no more. My last 3 visits have been less than satisfactory. Today was my last visit. Their customer service is appalling. They do not listen to why I am in there, they simply try to convince me that I need to replace my tires. They no longer provide customer service out front, but rather a sales team. While I sat and waited for 2 hours for them to perform a simple warranty service, I saw how they used the same manipulative "tire safety" sales pitch to others. No thank you. I can buy tires anywhere, but I will no longer buy tires from them. read more

I almost died because they don't know how to put on a tire, over tight lug nuts. Our WHOLE wheel flew off. Please don't half ass your job, I'm trying to live. Update: my front two tires were in pretty awful shape BUT I already have 4 new tires. We went up there to see if they would put them on and they start being assholes and told us they would only put on tires that we bought from there at that moment. Meaning I would have to buy 4 MORE tires for them to put them on?? No thank you. read more

I used to love this place until they sold me 2 exploding tires. I had the tires less than two weeks before problems with the TPMS started. Then I had a tire blow out while driving (Monday), the second one went on the Sunday. Gary and Shaun are good people but this is ridiculous. read more

Wait was the normal wait. It was ok. They took care of my tire. While I waited in the waiting area, I watched the "cleaning" crew. They mopped the floor before cleaning it at all. No sweeping, or anything. Looks like they've NEVER swept. There was so much trash, dirt, hair, etc You name it, it was on that floor. Disgusting!! I guess they get paid regardless. A 4 year old could do better. I guess corporate controls it or the men that work there don't really care. I know they are busy at this location but for the customer, this is disgusting and unacceptable. Mopping with all the nastiness in the floor! Really, what is the purpose of hiring cleaning people?? Also, restroom smelled of cigarettes. Need to at least put a sign up on the doors to the rr for no smoking! read more

I am a traveling healthcare professional and I drive a business vehicle. I took it to discount to order my tires and called to tell me they were in. I let them know the day I would be in but not the time due to patient scheduling. I waited 2 1/2 hours. If I had known to schedule an appointment or wait three hours I would have. Please schedule your appointments. The people are nice but this can eat into your time if your in a time sensitive field. read more

I just bought a pair of copper evolutions from this location. Let me just say, i have been to other DT's and the service has been just okay, but this wasn't the case today or last Friday 7/19/19. I was helped by two gentlemen, Gary and i believe Jacob. I had picked the set out for price purposes and reliability. Most places like this are pushy and they don't let you speak. But this was not like that by far. They cared about what my reasoning was and they helped me get in and out. I will definitely go back to this place again and by from Gary. read more

First time dealing with this location since I'm originally from the Fort Worth area. Costumer service is BAD at this location. Never had such a horrible service and I've been to multiple discount tire locations in the past. Mind you, my interaction with them was over the phone.. Would only recommend if you're getting routine balance and rotation. Looks like this is a reoccurring theme for this location.... read more

I've been buying tires here for more than 20 years but they are getting so busy you may have to wait for an hour are longer. I purchased several sets of their ATV tires for my RAM trucks. If you're driving on the highway they are fine. If you occasionally drive on rock roads as I do their tires are prone to frequent punctures and long waits at the stores for repairs. They usually replace the tire which then means you are driving on different size tires due to tread wear. So much for ATV in their tires. I'm 72 and drove on a lot of rock roads when I was younger. Seems as though the quality of tires have diminished over the years. I think I'll try a different brand and store next time. read more

Won't answer the phone. I've heard the same stupid recording 8 times! I quit. Why do they even bother to have a phone if they are going to refuse to answer it? read more

I have done business with Discount Tire for years but no more. I took my car in two times telling them something was wrong with one of my tires. Both times they told me the tires were fine and if I continued to have the problem, take the car to a repair shop for a front end alignment. I was still having the problem so I took my car into the shop for a front end alignment and was told that wasn't the problem. The problem was one of the tires had a separated belt. They replaced the tire and problem solved! Discount Tire sucks and will never get any another penny from me. read more

DO NOT TRUST THEIR ESTIMATES ON HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO GET SERVICE! Bought tires here for my mom's car, I live in another state. Was told it would be ready in 1 1/2 hours, it's been 1 1/2 hours and the car has not been touched. Asked what the problem is and I was told it takes awhile. Guy at the counter doesn't give a crap if we waste our time waiting on them. Poor customer service... read more

great store when you are spending money but horrible service after.... walked into the store at the same time as another person who was buying new tires...an hour and a half later he has his new tires and was gone while my vehicle had not even been started read more

Same bad service from Marshall. I waited this time same as last time one hour & 15 mins. Not only could they not fix it they left it parked in rear of parking lot & said nothing while I waited on my day off! This is why plus the previous review of why I won't reommend this place ever! read more

Went in to get a tire fixed with a nail in it. We were there 2 hours and the woman ahead of us walked out because of her 1 and 3/4 hours wait and still not repaired. We had to complain several times. They were not concerned if you decided to walk out without the work getting done. read more

I thought discount tire would be better since they can't go into your car and steal anything since covid but after a few weeks I looked at my wheel and noticed that they had taken one of my lug nuts and replaced it with a temporary lug nut. Absolutely ridiculous they try and screw me every way I can. read more

The staff was polite; however, I bought 1 tire 4/1/16, 1 tire 4/29/16, and 2 tires 6/14/16. I have gone less than 20,000 miles on the last two tires and they have a 40,000 mile warranty. I went in because the tires are already bald and they will only give me $35 each on the two back tires, nothing on the front. Are you kidding?! Less than half the mileage and barely 6 months old?! This was the best they could do. I guess I'll know better next time! Be warned! read more

My tire popped while I was driving through Sherman, I was far from home and freaking out! My car got towed to this Discount Tire store and I cannot thank Andrew Joseph enough for going out of his way to help me. The store was closing soon and I would have been stranded in Sherman! Best customer service ever! I will be getting all my tires from Discount Tire from now on! Thank you Andrew, you are a life saver!!!! read more

I gave up on this place. I have purchased tires there before, but the goal seems to be get as much business stacked up as possible, etc. It looks like it takes hours, etc., to get a tire put on. There are lots of other tire shops where there is no wait, and I have used them, so I know that they work out great. It seems that for the long time that I waited there today, that there is small spurts of work, and most of the time, no work is getting done. So, I give up! read more

I've bought tires here more than once. But I did not with my last set because they were a better deal elsewhere. I did go there a couple of times when my tire pressure light came on, though. Little did I know they were over inflating my tires. I got 15,000 miles out of a set of tires which should have lasted at the very least 25,000. They wore out in the middle, not on the edges but have to be replaced nonetheless. I will NEVER go there again.....not for tires!.......not for air!!! I gave them ONE STAR because I could not give them fewer!!!!! read more

The tire on our boat trailer blew on the way to the lake and we called discount tire and spoke to David about our situation. He was so nice and told us that he had the tire we needed in stock and told us that he would get the tire for us as quickly as possible so that we could get back to our boat on the side of the road!! We waited less than 10 minutes and they brought the tire out to us!! They were awesome!!! read more
