If you have Quartz insurance - change as soon as humanly possible…read more I've never written a review before being removed from services yet here I am as a guardian to someone that directly receives Journey therapy services and yes I sit in some sessions. I talk to the therapist. I literally sat through intake, provided contact information of former practitioners, providers and medical care teams. More than 90 days later, no one has been contacted. I was just told the patient has to have a signed release, on file. We signed that at intake which we sat through for 90minutes, I provided copies of the documents and have full contact information with fax numbers. Apparently, I did it all to make papers look pretty. Direct questions of the counselor go unanswered. I'm content with just leaving and going somewhere that will include 1. Accountability 2. Redirection 3. Reenforcements. 4. DBT that handles once the pt has made poor choices and actions leading to damaging consequences. POA is on file. I've asked if GAL is required in order to talk to me as equal as the patient and Idk if it's the counselors bias or lack of foresight yet I was told no. Now, I'm seeking to switch after a year and get GAL to avoid pitfalls. Comparatively, I learned while reviewing places to go that Center for Open Doors openly discusses what their action plan is when the 4 things I mentioned above occur at some point during their care.

The facility exploits people with "advantagable" disorders that are already prediagnosed (from my…read moreown, personal experience). They gang stalk, use religion as a way to torture, attack clients, refuse to prescribe adequate medications that were documented on previous facility records as successful. They sexually assault clients in the office and outside of the office also. They use religion and other avenues to get "permission" for these things. In my area, this specific "JOURNEY MENTAL HEALTH" is only used for trafficking the vulnerable. I am a victim myself and all I can do is leave a review to hopefully help stop this situation. They are illegally committing people to the state and making them commit to unnecessary medications that won't actually help the mental health disorder, due to their religion and sexual preference. They have sex trafficked me due to my disorders and exploited me personally. Once they decide whether or not you're a victim of theirs, I am sure they'll tell you the same way they told me, "We're a cult".

I tried to appreciate this business-their answering services are easy to use, though you will not…read morereach a human when you call. I received a call back within a day each time I tried to call and schedule an appointment. Unless you are glued to your phone and able to answer it immediately- expect to make another return message and hope tomorrow you can answer. And then another couple days as you wait to be matched with a therapist. I was able to schedule a visit for my child within a week-I received the incoming paperwork ahead of time and was able to fill that out saving us some extra time in the waiting room. They do have coffee, tea and hot chocolate to enjoy as you wait. While the therapist was kind (I hope so!) we clearly didn't mesh and he suggested we didn't reschedule, but he'd see us if we really wanted. I was fine with skipping that follow up and we can find someone else.

Review of Madison Psychiatric Associates…read more My time at Madison Psychiatric Associates was disappointing, to say the least. I was initially passed over for the position, only to be hired three weeks later when the original hire abruptly left. From day one, I caught on quickly to the role and was consistently praised by my supervisor for my ability to handle tasks efficiently and stay on top of the workload. I maintained the "okay to call" file daily while my coworkers spent the majority of their time on personal activities -- including making memes, scrolling social media, and browsing for pets -- even during busy office hours. Despite my strong performance, I was abruptly terminated two hours into a shift without any clear explanation, even after asking multiple times. The lack of professionalism in that moment -- particularly from Trina -- was incredibly disappointing. Taylor, the office manager is also extremely rude. He came to me with something that he knew nothing about. An issue with something I did not do. When I tried to correct him on the info he came to me with, so that he was correct about it and he didn't sound like a complete idiot talking about something HE thought he knew, he had a disgusting attitude towards me and tried to argue with me. The office culture is unprofessional, with frequent gossip about patients, providers, and staff happening openly, even in front of patients. The work ethic of the front desk team (with the exception of the billing department and Kasey, the intake coordinator, who were respectful and supportive) was virtually nonexistent. Leadership seemed either unaware or unconcerned about the dysfunction. There are also serious concerns about the facility itself, including what appeared to be mold issues throughout the building. In short, the workplace lacks structure, professionalism, and respect -- not only toward employees but potentially toward patients as well. I wouldn't recommend working here to anyone seeking a professional and ethical healthcare environment. I'm a licensed esthetician of 6 years, I've been in healthcare for the last 5 years working at chiropractic offices to hospice and nursing homes and this is by far the most unprofessional environment I've ever encountered

Anh-Toan has been such a great life coach and his insightful, interpersonal, and in-depth approach…read morehas helped me tremendously. We meet bi-monthly via Zoom and occasionally in-person as well. For context, I started these sessions with a clear goal to better understand where I wanted to focus my energy and career, though I couldn't figure it out by myself (not like it's an easy thing to do but still). I was impressed by Anh-Toan's ability to empathetically understand my situation and pinpoint the important things to focus on. I gained a much better understanding of my values and practical advice to apply them in everyday life. His positive energy is contagious and I come out of every session with a strong sense of purposeful direction. For those considering life coaching in-general: I think it's a really valuable investment when you're trying to set a direction or gain better self-understanding. It can also be valuable in figuring out how to apply knowledge to take something good and make it better. If you're on the fence I'd say schedule a chat and see if it's a good fit - Anh-Toan's an honest guy and will give his honest opinion. Highly recommend him as a coach!

Anh-Toan is a genuinely friendly, happy and helpful person, who is highly skilled at helping you identify what you want most in your life and breaking down the steps it will take to get there. From visualization exercises, to progress tracking tools, to digging in to your most personal roadblocks, Anh-Toan knows how to help you become the person you most want to be. I strongly recommend having your first conversation with him as soon as you can. You'll know right away you want him in your corner.
