The doctors are excellent, but the office is terrible. Good luck ever getting ahold of someone, as…read morethey never pick up the phone. I left a voicemail two weeks ago saying "I need to schedule an appointment, it's urgent, call me back ASAP." They called me TODAY, and not because they actually wanted to schedule an appointment, but because a medication of mine had been cancelled, *which was the reason I wanted to schedule an appointment in the first place.* They gave me the excuse of "not having enough information" to deem me worthy of calling back, which is BS. Firstly, it's a voicemail, it's a social expectation to *not* dictate an essay and keep it short. My issue was not something that could be summarized in a voicemail, which is why I said "urgent" and "call me back ASAP." Which, secondly, if a client *says* "urgent, call me back ASAP," you should *actually* call them back as soon as possible! Refusing to call back a client who explicitly says a matter is urgent is the height of unprofessionalism. I don't care how busy you are, put them on a high priority list. And while you're at it, how about instead of having us wait for an indefinite of time for you to call after leaving a voicemail, you put us on hold. The only reasons as to why an office doesn't have this feature, aside from technological incompetence, is if they don't have receptionists working from the time they open to the time they close. Which they should! I know doctor's offices have been extremely busy ever since covid, and that likely extends to mental health offices as well. While I'm glad this place got rid of the previously *incompetent* medical assistant, it is clear to me that the issues with Mental Health Solutions were not solely her fault. There are serious problems with the way this office is run and managed. They should consider themselves lucky that I don't have the money to file a lawsuit after their failure to refill my medication in a timely fashion (which, *despite* the bad weather and holidays, they did in fact have enough time to refill) was allegedly at least partially responsible for a car accident I was in in early January. I am not going to pursue legal action, nor am I making any accusations. I just think that it is a hell of a coincidence that I got into my first car accident the day that I ran out of ADHD medications. Again, this is all alleged, I am not making any accusations towards MH Solutions or any of its employees. Correlation does not equal causation, after all. I will not, and do not, hold MH Solutions or any of its employees at all responsible for this incident. I am merely stating my own personal experience and opinion, which has given me a biased view towards the company. If MH Solutions takes issue with anything I have stated here, I will delete this portion of my review with no rebuttal, though the 1 star rating and the rest of my complaints will still stand. I am not interested in any legal disputes. To my psychiatrist - you deserve far better than this establishment. Please consider switching to a different office, for the sake of your patients. Sadly, I will not continue being a client at this clinic for much longer, and will be switching to my primary care provider.

Had a small rough patch when switching billing systems but everything worked out. I strongly suggest you go here if you need help. If one therapist doesn't work then try another. It's about matching styles of help with what you need. Best thing is to seek help.

Review of Madison Psychiatric Associates…read more My time at Madison Psychiatric Associates was disappointing, to say the least. I was initially passed over for the position, only to be hired three weeks later when the original hire abruptly left. From day one, I caught on quickly to the role and was consistently praised by my supervisor for my ability to handle tasks efficiently and stay on top of the workload. I maintained the "okay to call" file daily while my coworkers spent the majority of their time on personal activities -- including making memes, scrolling social media, and browsing for pets -- even during busy office hours. Despite my strong performance, I was abruptly terminated two hours into a shift without any clear explanation, even after asking multiple times. The lack of professionalism in that moment -- particularly from Trina -- was incredibly disappointing. Taylor, the office manager is also extremely rude. He came to me with something that he knew nothing about. An issue with something I did not do. When I tried to correct him on the info he came to me with, so that he was correct about it and he didn't sound like a complete idiot talking about something HE thought he knew, he had a disgusting attitude towards me and tried to argue with me. The office culture is unprofessional, with frequent gossip about patients, providers, and staff happening openly, even in front of patients. The work ethic of the front desk team (with the exception of the billing department and Kasey, the intake coordinator, who were respectful and supportive) was virtually nonexistent. Leadership seemed either unaware or unconcerned about the dysfunction. There are also serious concerns about the facility itself, including what appeared to be mold issues throughout the building. In short, the workplace lacks structure, professionalism, and respect -- not only toward employees but potentially toward patients as well. I wouldn't recommend working here to anyone seeking a professional and ethical healthcare environment. I'm a licensed esthetician of 6 years, I've been in healthcare for the last 5 years working at chiropractic offices to hospice and nursing homes and this is by far the most unprofessional environment I've ever encountered

It ended up being a 30 minute appointment to catch up on any health or other medication changes, and we did NOT do any psychotherapy (I work with a therapist separately).
