There was a bit of smoke in the air but it was interfering with my breathing. The food was a 4. The Mac n cheese was basic that you expect from restaurant. I never expect or receive homemade quality mac n cheese. It was not nasty, just not traditional baked style. The turkey wing was tender. The collard greens were perfect! They were not salty or bland. The cornbread was good. Overall, I would visit again because they offer menu options that are homestyle. Plenty to choose from if you dont eat pork or beef. Oh the deciding factor for me when choosing to visit a new restaurant is the health score. They had a 96A!

All though the prices are reasonable, they are actually higher than whats posted on their display board. The manager/owner is aware of this because I personally spoke with him several months ago and he has yet to change the pricing on the display board to align with whats actually being charged. I don't have a problem with paying whatever the price would be, my problem is with them not being upfront with their pricing. It's a matter of principle. I have been given cause to question their ethics and if I feel that they are not ethical, unfortunately I am unable to support the business. So my concluding message is buyer beware!

It was EXCELLENT, I absolutely cleaned off the plate after taking it to-go, definitely need to stop by there again. I definitely recommend the spot though, the wait isn't too long either, tasty and will fulfill your appetite!

This is usually an indication that everything they sell is really good. I had a half slab of ribs. They were fall off the bone tender. The sauce was made in house or at least spices were added in house. I am really picky about ribs and question the flavor fall off the bone will have but these ribs were really good. There are not many keto friendly sides here so I had double collard greens. The greens still had a gentle crunch , bits of meat and wonderfully seasoned. A Taste of Heaven Rib Shack - Honest Review…read more I ordered the chicken, potato salad, mac and cheese, and cornbread, and I really expected the food to be off the chain, especially being from New Orleans where flavor is everything. The service was fine, but the food itself missed the mark for me. The seasoning was bland, the sides didn't have that homemade taste I was hoping for, and shortly after eating, I started feeling nauseous, which was disappointing and concerning. I wanted to love it, but the meal just didn't live up to the name or the hype.

At first I thought the prices were a little high but then I saw what all we got and it was well worth what they charge. We actually were confused at first by the Vegan trailer outside. I assumed they cooked in the house and sold out of the food trailer but that is a whole separate business, when I asked for meat they said "over there." We went inside the house and we were greeted by 2 nice beautiful ladies that explained all our questions, as it was our first trip in, and we put our order in. There is a good bit of room inside if you want to dine in but we were on the road so Togo it was. We ordered the 2 ribs lunch, a half rack which was 6 bones and the pork sandwich. I got the hot bbq on the half rack and it was actually medium in hotness just fyi. I'm not a huge fan of beef ribs because most people can't get them tender enough but TOH did the deed and they were fairly tender. We will be back again to try other options.

The pasta is very watery, to the point that there's liquid sitting throughout the container. This is not what I expected at all, especially when I'm paying for a quality meal. I understand restaurants can have an off night, but this is honestly unacceptable to serve to a customer. I shouldn't have to drain water out of my pasta before I can even attempt to eat it. I'd appreciate it if someone could make this right, whether that means remaking the order properly or issuing a refund. I'm not trying to be difficult--I just expect the food I paid for to be prepared and served properly.
