I have been a regular patient of Dr Liu for several years, seeing her 4-6 times per year. Today, my…read morecar service to take me to my appointment didn't show up, so I had to schedule another appointment. I arrived 20 minutes late. Dr Liu refused to see me, telling the receptionist that I had to reschedule. I wasted almost $60 (for nothing) for my roundtrip car service. But most inexplicable is being punished for arriving 20 minutes late. What is so offensive about this is that for every appointment that I have at this office, I have waited about 15-30 minutes in the waiting area to be brought to the technician, who intakes my latest information, dilates my eyes, and conducts routine eye tests and takes some scans. From this point (about 30-45 minutes after arriving for my appointment), I always have to wait at least one hour and as long as 2.5 hours before being seen by Dr Liu. They even have signs in the office saying you should expect to wait that long. Given the timing for each visit, I cannot imagine what could have occurred in the 20 minutes between my scheduled appointment and my arrival that would have made it impossible for her to see me. She has always been very curt, never spending more time than necessary with me. I have had my last appointment with Dr Liu, and have moved on to another practice. BE AWARE!

I was spared being in a new city and having to go to an unknown place to possibly have to wait days for an appointment! There are no words to how good the Doctor's at this facility have been to me, I have the utmost respect and admiration fir Just an update, was kind of sitting on the fence for a few days about whether or not I had an eye infection. Turns out, yes I did. Absolutely no waiting time whatsoever. Detailed and specific instructions from the Dr. By that, I mean he took his time with me and never looked at his watch for the next patient. They were able to get me in ASAP when I mentioned I thought I may have an infection. They have several locations. Thankfully, it was not the situation this time, but I have had eye infections that go from bad to way, way worse overnight.

It's such a goose bump moment when your name and issue is heard across the lobby. This is a common practice they fail to realize what's happening. Many seniors can't hear - but many can, those that can the information is loud and the ones that can't just want to hear the information and directive provided by the desk. It's in all offices not just those serving seniors. This is a problem please redesign all check-in locations and people just sit and listen. *This review is for Adult Medicine*…read more Drove my mom to SW Medical today, 4/10/2026, for blood work and a doctor appointment. My Mom has to use her double wide manual wheelchair for appointments instead of her electric wheelchair because RTC Paratransit doesn't pick up in my neighborhood (she lives with me). The manual chair is so wide that she has to stand up and use her walker to get through the doors to the exam rooms, I have to fold the chair to get it through the door, and then, once we're through the door, I open the chair so she can sit back down. It really wears her out. By the time we got upstairs to Adult Medicine for her doctor appointment, she was completely pooped. The nurse who called her back, got two other nurses to assist us getting from the waiting room to the back. After the appointment, there were literally like 5 people- nurses and doctors- who came to assist my Mom out of the room. Two nurses then escorted us to the service elevator and out the ambulance entrance so Mom wouldn't have to stand up again to get back into the main lobby. They also pushed her to the car and helped her get in the car. I just want to commend the staff in the Adult Medicine department. You made my Mom's day. She said she felt like she was getting the VIP treatment. These days, that kind of customer service in medical establishments is rare. Thank you and may God bless you all!
