After three phone calls with the bank wondering where the check was, the bank manager said "he lost my phone number" and that is "why he didn't call me" to notify the check was ready. But to get access to my Father's Estate Account, I had to give them Court Certified records documenting my address. If they couldn't find my number, how about sending a letter? I had to call several times and make two physical bank visits (while grieving the loss of my father and being on a deadline to account for his assets with the court). I find PNC's work sloppy, unacceptable, and quite possibly unlawful. DISGUSTING. But of course, when I was in their the first time they managed to push marketing on why I should open an account with them to manage my father's funds. GROSS. NOT A GREAT TIME TO BE PUSHY PNC. I tried calling first, and they were not helpful at all and said that their systems are exactly like the online systems. So I went into the branch and they had to call an customer service rep line (unsure if it's only internal or not), but it took forever to get someone on the phone. Their end "solution" was "just try to submit your application online again. It should work." Right... because the first five times worked. I finally got another branch in another state to help me! However, since they were in another state, I needed to send some forms in to make it official. Their inability to troubleshoot caused me to go into their branch three times in two days.

I have had mortgages that I have paid off and many cars over the years plus many student loans. Needless to say, I called them to give it to them. If you want to feel like you borrowed the money from your friend that lives paycheck to paycheck then use this bank.
