My initial thought was "I don't need a therapy session to pick paint colors, I just want some shade of blue for the house and white for the trim". ‍ But then we had our paint picking session with Gregory, and it was SO helpful. (And no it's not a "therapy session" - it's just a very thorough conversation about color options where he helps guide you to discovering what is the best color choice for you). By the end of it, we'd decided on a color I had not initially been considered (a lovely blueish teal), which I had worried would be too dark, or too similar to the home's previous color. But it wasn't too dark at all, is definitely not too similar to the color we had before, and it looks absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't be happier with the results. I went over the house looking closely in the corners and transitions to the trim, the gutters, etc... and it was all done meticulously. Paul also triple checked my color and sheen decisions, which was important especially as the main house color was custom. Paul also was a good source of advice, widely available for a call or email to discuss pros and cons of a particular paint brand or sheen choice. Very easy to work with. Additionally, Paul responded to my request for a bid right away and was here within a day to scope the job. He was also the first to respond with the estimate, which fell in the reasonable range compared to other estimates. Other people we've contracted on house projects in the past did not always show up on time nor finished on time. His crew was tender with taking care of the plants and all the things that hang on the house. He spent a bunch of time consulting with my wife on trim colors to get what she wanted. While he was here, I asked him to redo the decks too - I was blown away by how well they came out. I never thought he could bring them back to life so much. They look great.
