I can't say enough good things about this company! We had our front landscaping replaced last summer and our back yard cleaned up. Both jobs turned out beautifully. This spring when we had a few plants that didn't make it over the winter, they were replaced with no argument. Shelton Landscape provided the fastest and most complete bid for our backyard project in the spring of 2021. Clay Deschler designed a functional and beautiful layout to accommodate our new pool installation. The Shelton crew removed old tree stumps, deteriorated retaining walls, a broken concrete patio and rotted railroad ties. They excavated and graded; installed drainage system; a new paver patio; stone retaining walls; large (manufactured) stone steps and flagstone paver walkways. They finished by sodding our entire backyard. It was a complete transformation. During the (approximate) monthlong project the crew arrived early in the morning and worked until 4 each afternoon without fail. We were completely satisfied with every aspect of Shelton's work. Shelton Landscape did a beautiful job! Clay was very responsive and gave us a very fair price. They planted 22 trees, built a beautiful water feature, installed a stone path through our woods in the back and regraded and installed gutter drains on the north side of our house, along with shrubs around our gazebo. This was the second time we hired Shelton to do some landscaping for us and the whole experience was amazing again! We invited Scott out to our new home to create a plan to update the landscaping and grade the yard - and he graciously agreed and genuinely appreciated the opportunity. We, again like the last time, immediately felt comfortable with his bid and ideas and hired him to do the job. The project was started on a Monday and it only took 3 days to complete the work! Everything from grading the yard to building retaining walls, laying over 1000 square feet of sod to planting bushes, and laying tons of rock... Everything was discussed up-front and was included in the bid - no surprises or "making it up as it goes" situations and it was smoothly orchestrated. We even got a refund on some of the material that wasn't used. I have never seen laborers work as hard as Scott's crew and to take the personal pride and enjoyment in their work. And we appreciated that Scott brought out a crew that worked so well together. Those are some of the details that made us feel that we got a heck of a deal! It was an honor to work with Scott and his employees again and we are extremely blessed to have hired Shelton Landscaping. Our whole yard has been completely transformed and opened up. We are so impressed and excited to have hired Shelton, we are going to have him bid some landscape lighting to showcase his masterpiece and get a few trees trimmed too soon!
