I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. I almost don't want to tell everyone how good they are because then they'll become too busy, ha! They truly deserve your business.

He replastered 2 ceiling holes, and 2 holes by my banister left by the guy who repaired it, and he repaired a huge crack in the ceiling above the stairs that I didn't even ask him to do because I thought it was hopeless. When the cord that came with the fan didn't reach the plug, he spliced a 3 prong extension cord and used that instead. Brilliant! He cleaned up everything. Well the crew from LVL has had our house for two and a half months - it was a transformation from the basement to the roof. It is beautiful. The attention to detail, the quality of the work- it is unbeatable. The problem is then the left the house unfinished, never completing it. Six months later- their electrical work caused a house fire. Repeated attempts to rectify the issues failed until the owner of LaVillaLux just stopped talking to us altogether. Not the best way to do business. Really sad at the outcome.

A simple 3-day drywall, mudding, and painting job turned into over a month of delays, excuses, and frustration. He tried to upsell unnecessary foundation work even after professionals confirmed everything was fine. We finally had to threaten legal action, and only then did he send someone else who finished the job in five hours. Dishonest, unreliable, and misleading.
