I hit this joint a lot for breakfast. They have grits, eggs, meat pies, smoked sausage, patty…read moresausage, bacon (biscuits can come with those meats too), biscuits and gravy, and oatmeal. They have lunch as well with turkey wings, chicken, white beans, gumbo and more. I've only had breakfast. The service is pretty fast so don't worry about long lines. Usually 3 people at the serving line and 2 registers going. They have gas too, which is usually more expensive than anything else around...if there was anything else around. They win. Not a bad spot. You may have a hobo or gutter punk ask you for change (rarely but does happen b/c there's a bus station across the street). Either give it to them or keep on walking. They won't attack you b/c cops are around all the time.

This location has 8 to 10 parking spots right front marked for employee parking but no one is parked in them. Seems a little pointless to have that many spots marked off if they are going to stay empty because employees are parking in lot next to the Arby's. If its to deter travelers from resting then they need to to change the whole business. Ive always know Loves Truck Stop to be traveler friendly.
