The location on Highland Road at Airline now offers only wet towels to dry your vehicle with. I experienced this today for the second time so I asked an employee. I live in Lafayette la, Kc (the best employee I have seen at this location) took the time to wash off my rubber matts after I cleaned them at the pre wash station. I unfortunately found you that he was getting written up for doing me this favor. In Lafayette where I normally wash my truck there is a hose pipe for people with rubber mats at the prewash station. If Kc loses his job I'm switching to Bennys. He should not be written up on my account because "every customer might want it done..." just do it or we will end up breaking the carpet machines shoving a rubber mat in there. read more

I needed to wash my car and vacuum it out so I decided to stop here to give a local car wash a try because I'm not going to be in Florida anytime soon. I was highly disappointed . The concept was just like the one I go to out of state and I know I can picky but after I came out the wash it was like did water even touch my car it was still as dirty as it was when I got there with just a little shine to it. So from a distance it looked cleaner but as soon as you walked up to it you can see all the dirt I had to take those towels and solution that they had at the station which is inconvenient you have to walk all the way over there to get towels and spray the solution on the towels creating the need to make several trips because trying to wet multiple at one time doesn't work they dry out! I was there for a few hours cleaning my car by hand. I'm just going to go to a person who can hand wash it for me. I guess if you want the appearance of clean from a distance than it does the job. Oh the vacuum cleaner suction really sucked lol like I was like this can't be real and then I tried another vacuum and it was broken like the head portion came off I just used it like was. read more

I was very underwhelmed by the car wash itself, I'm sad to say. I had gotten a ceramic platinum wash- their most expensive $25 one. My car was visually not terribly filthy going in but had some dust from the roads on my work commute going through some construction. There was build up on my rims though which is why I went with their so called best option. Once inspecting post wash, I was really unimpressed with streaky appearance of dirt, grime still visible on the edges of the windows, and rims not up to par. I spent a good 25 minutes using their microfiber cloth amenities to scrub at my rims, streaky appearance of my bumper and hood, etc. and I was not expecting to have to work so much on getting the exterior looking like it was freshly washed. In fact now there are some visible streaks after the elbow grease put into it from the wax coating. The performance did not feel worthwhile and I was dismayed my the results with my first try of the place. The amenities are nice though. The clean microfiber cloths, scrubbing brushes, and vacuums were certainly utilized. They have an onsite car mat cleaner which I had never seen before which is also very neat. I might've been happier if I had gotten a membership to go through it again but personally, this was a one and done. read more

THE WORST CAR WASH IN BATON ROUGE!!!!! Stay away from the CORTANA location! I have experienced the worst customer service EVER! Everyone is unprofessional and the front office reeks of MARIJUANA!!! I went in to speak with a manager and apparently they were HIGH AS A KITE, RUDE and couldn't comprehend! A customer in front of my vehicle bike rack fell off damaging my new car! I was advised by Darryl Lavigne and Celton Hayden to retrieve 3 estimates to get my vehicle fixed. I've submitted the estimates and received a email stating that my claim was approved signed by Celton Hayden and Darryl Lavigne to get my vehicle repaired and now I'm getting the run around as if I caused the accident. I've tried calling the corporate office and left several messages and yet have I received a call back. I'm forced to get an attorney involved to resolve this matter. My girlfriend and I had recently purchased a 2013 Toyota Prius. I decided to bring it here since I love going here in my car and I wanted to get the new car cleaned up. Our first issue came when loading onto the conveyor belt for the wash. As we were attempting to put the car in neutral, the attendants began screaming at us to put the car in neutral and one of them started beating on the body of the car with his hand while yelling at us to put it in neutral. While I understood their concern (though we were actively shifting into neutral), I found it unacceptable that they started beating on the car. We also paid for the tire shine wash which ended up leaving ugly black streak marks on all the tires. I spent 40 minutes today scrubbing these marks off. Lastly, the wash was incredibly abrasive on the car, knocking the side windows out of their normal positions and dislocating the rear windshield wiper. I was able to fix everything that happened to the car but was incredibly disappointed with this experience and think that better protocols should be implemented. read more

The cheapest option is $10 and well worth it! There is prep area right before you get in line to pay and begin the wash. In the prep area, there is a garbage bin and 2 brushes with some cleansing water. I think it's to pre-brush any specific areas of your vehicle that might need some extra attention (like your rims and/or grill). After payment, the wash seemed pretty standard to me, but what really stood out was the air rockets which nearly dried the entire car. Some other washes I've had will still leave water marks and parts of the car wet and I'd have to dry it in the vacuum area. But at GC, the car was very dry. I also appreciated the extreme vacuum suction (though very loud in sound). There's also mat shampooing available in a separate area. I will definitely be a returning customer, next time I'm in the area. read more

I signed up for a one month trial for $17.99 on Seigen Lane in Baton Rouge and quit at the one month mark. They have been charging my credit card $39.99 for the past four months - even though I have gone to the car wash twice and told them to destroy my credit card information and not charge me again. I have to dispute each charge monthly at my bank. They still have not stopped charging me. Avoid this car wash unless you're willing to pay $39.99 indefinitely. read more

I'm especially excited about their carpet mat shampooer and duster! So awesome and cool!!! This car wash made my car look brand new! (I'm not kidding)! I am so glad that there is a Geaux Clean Car Wash closer to me now! Yay! It just recently opened and they have some powerful vacuums + a rug washer/cleaner machine! They have entrances on both sides and plenty of vacuum bays for when you are done with your wash. These car washes just keep getting better & better. It's like going to a concert or a foam party on your car! There are colorful, blinking lights + you can turn music on in your car to add to the fun. If you have kiddos, they will love this. Make it a family affair and bring the whole family out! My daughter loves to operate the vacuums and is always willing to do a majority of the cleaning in the car with them. Can I get these type of vacuums for my house, so she'd help clean more there? Anyway, if you are in need of a wash and live close to Corporate/College area... you'll love this place! I give this place 3 stars as a combination between the way it cleaned my husbands truck and my Jeep. I really wanted to love this place. It itself is clean, new, and "looks like a kids ride". Several weeks ago, we took my husbands jeep gladiator truck through this wash and it did a nice job. Yesterday, we took my Jeep Wrangler through this wash and I was so disappointed. The parts of my vehicle that it actually DID clean were great... but so much was missed. It has been a couple weeks since I had it cleaned, but it was not covered in mud by any means. The doors were left with patches of dirt still in the center, the creases where panels came together were not even touched, the spare tire was just brushed over, and other spots were missed entirely - doesn't look like water even touched some spots . (See pictures) I know that the squareness of the jeeps body seems to make it difficult for some washes... but i had hopes for this "tech looking" wash. So disappointed. read more

I did a Yelp search to find this near me. I'm not from Baton Rouge so I didn't realize it was there AND close to my mom's house. We just came back from a week in Orange Beach and my car was covered in salt spray. The tunnel was long with a lot of brushes and sprays. It did a great job and the attendants were exceptionally polite and helpful. I'll certainly be back to get regular highway grit off. read more

Car wash is great and exceeds my expectations every time. Vacuums actually are able to clean my floors unlike other car washes.

This carwash used to be the best around. While the free vacuums and pre-wash prep area still make it different, I agree with other reviewers who said they run your car too fast these days to actually get it clean. I went through with my RAV4 this morning and wound up having to wipe it down the back and sides with a damp cloth after I got home, because many areas (particularly the back, but even areas of the sides that should have been easy to clean) still had visible road grime that wasn't washed off. I hope they improve soon. Otherwise, I may be looking for a new carwash. read more

Awesome carwash and awesome staff. I've noticed a drop in staff quality at other popular carwashes in Baton Rouge lately, and found that GC is really a breath of fresh air. They have great employees who give your car a pre-rinse before you get into the actual wash, the guys who work in the office are great and easy to deal with, and they have a ton of amenities as another reviewer mentioned. The floor mat cleaners work REALLY well (I have rubber floor mats in my truck which haven't been cleaned since I got it 3 years ago and were heavily caked with mud, etc) and they made them look brand new. The wash itself works really well and gives a high quality wash, most importantly keeps my truck looking clean in our awful Louisiana summer weather, and the shammy dryer at the end is the best I've seen anywhere. I got the monthly membership during their grand opening which was a pretty good deal, and it was good to see that the people who owned it were there and all really nice and friendly- it always makes it easier to patronize a business when the owners are appreciative of their customers. It was also really nice to see that they have 3-4 outlets to get back onto Bankers, or Corporate, or College, which makes life easy depending on the time of day that you go. read more

Car was is usually not working at 100%! It has certain parts that are to wash your vehicle in a non working state. When you pay for a service you should get that service. Instead of worrying about a plate reader, keep the car wash machines operating at its peak! I was paying for the Ceramic Wash! I have canceled my membership. Was impressed at first but the quality became hit or miss! read more
