Best alternative to Costco gas in price value. I have been watching their price compared to Costco & they only differ in prices by about $0.10 to $0.15 per gallon. While Costco deals with major oil refineries, you just will not know which one you are putting in your tank. For those discerning customers that are particular to brand & quality, this is the next best thing within almost all of LA County. My go to gas station when I'm in the area. They have the cheapest gas around, and if you stack it with your Fuel Rewards and T-Mobile Tuesday discounts you can get gas sometimes cheaper than Costco. Worst gas station ever called before going asking if they accept gift cards got told they do when going in to use old Asian worker was already being rude to an elderly lady getting mad at her for his own machine not working then when It was my turn to go his machine once again didn't work and said gift cards don't work and at the same time kept talking over me being rude for no reason after I simply asked if they do the barcode from the shell app and told me he doesn't have " fancy equipment " which is just a bar code scanner. Came by for a fill up the other day as this was one of the most competitive for pricing for Top Tier gas. Located a block away from the 60 freeway, getting in and out of the petrol was easy with numerous filling stations that were well spaced. Both cash and credit pricing was identical. Fuel pump was in good working order although the island ran out of receipt paper and the convenience store was locked upon first arrival. The paper towels were stuck in the dispenser which required some effort to retrieve. Fuel pump was quick and the petrol station was clean. read more

Absolutely the WORST gas station you could possibly go to. You might as well come in here expecting get in a car accident when you wait 20 min for the next pump. the traffic and layout is ridiculous, the Apple Pay never works so everyone goes inside. The service is terrible from one employee, I'm assuming the owner because he rudely tells the other employees what to do, it's very unprofessional. He's a older, thin maybe Hispanic or middle eastern man. He's incredibly rude. He put up signs saying you can park your car if you are a shell customer , LIE. He has tape and chains EVERYWHERE. every customer is parking at the pump, looking around his store and taking 20min to pump gas by the time they come out. Surrounding gas stations are much better. All the same or lower price, cleaner, larger and kinder employees. Who cares if you have shell rewards, it's not worth the anxiety of denting your car, the 20+min wait and the rude manager. CUSTOMERS BEWARE This shell is a crazy traffic jam. 3 different driveways and no proper lines. It's a zoo there. Every time I go(which is rare), there's people yelling and shouting over takings turns and people who can't figure out how to park their car at the pump. Additionally a friend brought 2 x5 gal totes to fill up. Filled up to the 5 gallon line on both and was charged 11.2 gallons. This is not right. At every other gas station they fill up to 10 gallons. Easy access gas station near the 60 with reasonable prices for location. As reference it is usually cheaper than the Chevron across the street from it and definitely cheaper than the Mobile a few blocks down. Watch out for being short changed by the Hispanic female. I used to like pumping at this station until recently paying with cash. The Hispanic female running the register was short changing everyone with their change. By just handy out dollars with no change because they were too busy with the small stuff. Well this is a scam. The night shift station attendant (middle age chinese guy) has the worst attitude. He entered the wrong pump number for another customer, ran up to me and demanded I pay the lady back $80. I didnt even pump gas at that pump; i was cleaning my windows. Probably someone before me pumped gas without paying but the attendant doesnt bother to check and just accused. read more

This location has always been the cheapest around. But since it's so cheap, everyone and they mother, brother, grandmother come here in that order. Which in turn makes the place really crowded and creates a decently long wait after work. Arrived here with an empty gas tank. Card reader does not work--seems like none of the card readers work for all pumps--so you are required to see the attendant to prepay. Paid $40 but pump stopped at $39.84. This isn't because my tank is full because it's only 3/4 full after fill up. Be careful at this station as they might short sale you. It's a small amount but it adds up and I don't appreciate being cheated at the pump. I would have gone to Costco if it weren't for my tank being totally empty. So let me start by saying I go to this gas station pretty often. There is an Arco across the street but it's only about 6 cents per gallon more over here. I use the car wash sometimes and it does a pretty OK job it is usually has a pretty long line to get in wash your car sometimes it takes about 15 minutes to get through the process might as well go to a hand wash. read more

I went into the store because the #2 pump wasnt working with my card and she was on the phone with a friend balancing out both of the cashiers at the same time. I almost feel like I'm being unnecessarily cruel to this station by giving it 2 stars, but I just wasn't particularly impressed with almost any aspect of it. The station is oddly designed and squished together, so you have to back away from the gas pumps to get out of the place and/or almost drive down on the sidewalk to wiggle into a pumping spot. In addition, the large marquee on the corner lists the cash price, but doesn't mention that it's a cash price. It was only once I pulled into the station that I saw the smaller A-frame sign about 3 feet off the ground that listed the 15 cent surchange per gallon for using card. I didn't like that - I felt cheated. In fact, I was planning on visiting the station on the opposite corner of the road (my GasBuddy app told me it was the cheapest), when the Shell marquee caught my eye. Too good to be true, as it turned out. I had no cash, so I ended up paying more after making a rather erratic driving maneuver just to get into the station. I also filled up my tires here since it's starting to cool off outside. The air/water station is accessible, which was a positive, but the sign that mentions it's complimentary was almost hidden, and I had to go inside to find out how to turn the machine on. If you guys are familiar with the Fuel Network Rewards program, get on it! This station gets you the rewards AND if you pay cash it's almost 10 cents cheaper per gallon. This gas station is typically the cheapest in the area and really easy access to the freeways. It's not going to be as nice with the Mobil/McDonald's next door, but it's pretty clean cut and dry for a gas station. The bathrooms and everything else are pretty standard. You can get In-N-Out next door if you fancy that over McDonald's. Typical selection at the snack shop inside with cool beverages and fattening delights for your road trip.
