The other is Kwik Trip 484 and it is northwest of the intersection. In addition to the usual stuff including a great coffee station, plenty of snacks, an easy to access pump area, this one has a FREE station for RV dumps. It's in the back and next to an outbuilding that is just behind the main Kwik Trip building. The place for parking is on a painted "no parking" space so you shouldn't be blocking any of the trucks while you're here. [Review 20706 overall - 275 in Wisconsin - 1687 of 2023.]

It's a pretty busy gas station as well full of trucks and vehicles getting gas as well. There used to be a Denny's connected but it is no longer present. There's a McDonald's in walking distance. Restrooms here were very clean, selection here was great when it came to finding snacks and drinks since everything was well inventoried. One of the better Kwik Trips worth checking out.

Never in my life did I think I would write a review praising Gas Station Pizza, but here goes!…read more We stopped to gas up for a long trip and get supplied with snacks. Right when we entered they were putting some hot fresh pizzas in the case. Since they actually looked good and none of the hot snacks tripped our trigger, we decided to go for the whole Cheese and Sausage Pizza. Not really expecting much. We were wrong, it was fantastic! A Lite, Crisp Crust, Tasty Sauce, Tons of Cheese and Flavorful Sausage. We destroyed the whole thing in a matter of minutes! Honestly, it was better than many Delivery Pizzas we've had. Aside from the Pizza, this Kwik Trip is clean, the staff is friendly and we stop here any time we need gas in the Sparta area. Now we will stop to satisfy a road trip Pizza Craving!

I grabbed a burger and some cheese sticks; the sticks were just okay, but the quarter-pound burger was absolutely disgusting, overcooked, and black around the edges. This was my first and last time stopping here during the day. I normally visit during the third shift, and the difference is night and day. When Nicky and Anthony are working, they actually work hard, have a great attitude, and are willing to cook something fresh if you ask. The way day shift runs things is a joke. If you're looking for food during the day, don't bother--you're much better off going to TA Travel Center or Shell where you'll actually have options

Oasis is a bit of a generous term for this roadside stop that's in desperate need of updating. If…read moreyou've lived in Wisconsin long enough, you've surely driven past the orange moose on 94 West. If you pull off the highway you'll find a small cluster of businesses including a bar and grill, a gas station, a Taco John's, and a Perkins. The oasis is a little run down, a little dingy, and hard to pull back out from to get back on the highway. We stopped to use the restroom and get a snack and while I was able to use the ladies' room, the men's room was inaccessible the entire time we were there. Someone had pushed a cleaning cart into the doorway to block it off, but the lights were off and no one came or went. We eventually bailed and went over the Perkins across the parking lot to take care of business. The Black River Crossing Oasis is about halfway between Madison and Minneapolis so it's a great location and sensible place to stop, but I may start seeking out an alternative after being consistently underwhelmed by the facilities.
