He went out of his way to assist us, very personable and made it a pleasant experience even though we were overpaying going to a convenient store. The next few times I went in for several different things, I didn't see him but a woman was there. She was owner, part owner or something like that. She was the opposite. It was July 4th weekend people coming in and out, I understand the pressure. But her flat out rudeness I do not understand. I myself spent several hundred dollars in that store over the course of our vacation and I regretted I didn't drive somewhere else to avoid her. I watched as she was belligerent and damn right derogatory to customer after customer. Asking for a receipt was like asking for her SS#. I asked her for a bag, you know the kind to carry my items that I bought in her store, she looked at me as though I asked for her first born. It's a pretty busy gas station as well full of trucks and vehicles getting gas as well. There used to be a Denny's connected but it is no longer present. There's a McDonald's in walking distance. Restrooms here were very clean, selection here was great when it came to finding snacks and drinks since everything was well inventoried. One of the better Kwik Trips worth checking out.

Right when we entered they were putting some hot fresh pizzas in the case. Since they actually looked good and none of the hot snacks tripped our trigger, we decided to go for the whole Cheese and Sausage Pizza. Not really expecting much. We were wrong, it was fantastic! A Lite, Crisp Crust, Tasty Sauce, Tons of Cheese and Flavorful Sausage. We destroyed the whole thing in a matter of minutes! Honestly, it was better than many Delivery Pizzas we've had. Aside from the Pizza, this Kwik Trip is clean, the staff is friendly and we stop here any time we need gas in the Sparta area. Now we will stop to satisfy a road trip Pizza Craving!

Yes, they rent canoes and kayaks, and they are OK with you using them for overnight paddle and camp trips. The rates are very reasonable. The convenience store itself is clean and organized. The staff are always friendly and good for some skinny on what the river is doing. What stands them apart is that they do not charge convenience store prices. Their pricing is more in line with a typical Kwik Trip. That is particularly impressive since they have a bit of a captive audience. They are the only gas station/convenience store of note between Black River Falls and Galesville along Highway 54.
