The soda machine was out of flavor options (the only caffeine-free fountain soda at the KT chain is lemon-lime, which bores me to tears and I tend to pass on unless I can relive my childhood with some cherry flavoring and turn it into a Shirley Temple). I like Kwik Trips in general, but this one might not quite be worth driving off the interstate for.

Both fathers were thrilled with the gift, and they raved about the cheese curds (My husband and I descend from a long line of cheese curd fans.) 2nd - We happened to vacation 20 minutes from the store, so naturally, we stopped in. It was a cute little place with some cheese, honey, ice cream (Cedar Crest), other food items, and a bunch of decor items, The cheese we bought was good - sheep feta, cheese curds, grumpy goat, but the cheese curds were a little different than any fresh ones I've had before - not squeaky, kind of squashed. We enjoyed our visit and left with our hands full.

I could be wrong, but I don't think they have AC inside, so be prepared to be a little toasty while waiting! They always have an overhead fan running, though. On this last visit, I ordered a single scoop of coconut caramel in a waffle cone. The ice cream itself was soo delicious, but my waffle cone was hard and stale, unfortunately.
