I ordered 2 different butters online and I was so excited. Today we received the order and the ice packs it was packed with was warm and soggy. The paper on the rolled butter was soggy. The butters were warm and tasted ransid and ruined. I called but the voicemail box was full so I couldn'y leave a message. The website would not take my message saying the captcha didn't match. I tried 6 different captcha's and got every one right. I hope to get a hold of somebody. I'll keep trying. Just FYI. read more

I've had 2 experiences with Nordic Creamery. 1st - I ordered gifts for Father's Day from them. The shipping was free to MN and super fast! Both fathers were thrilled with the gift, and they raved about the cheese curds (My husband and I descend from a long line of cheese curd fans.) 2nd - We happened to vacation 20 minutes from the store, so naturally, we stopped in. It was a cute little place with some cheese, honey, ice cream (Cedar Crest), other food items, and a bunch of decor items, The cheese we bought was good - sheep feta, cheese curds, grumpy goat, but the cheese curds were a little different than any fresh ones I've had before - not squeaky, kind of squashed. Two times I've ordered cheese from Nordic Creamery, and I've been amazed at how quickly the order arrived - great service! The cheeses were packed in an insulated bag with "Nordic Ice" to keep them cold and fresh. Every cheese I ordered has been very tasty. The Capriko is a most interesting and delicious treat. Great, fresh products in a small store at the farm entrance. Really pretty setting with a nice deck to sit and enjoy your eats. It's definitely not near anything, so you have to intend to go here...you won't just happen to drive past it! A highlight of my visits to the area to see my Mother, is a stop at the Nordic creamery. Their sweet cream butter is without peer. Rich and creamy, the perfect accompaniment. The BEST butter out there. As a restaurant that prides itself on sourcing locally grown foods, there just isn't a better butter. Not watered down, high butter fat and delicious flavor.
