So I Googled the station, got a number, called it, and it was the owners house! He was wondering what was going on (and why his number was obtained), but was really nice and after confirming with his attendant, he told me to go back in anytime to get my credit in gas fill. I just got that gas, and I appreciate that there are some out there who understand a little airheadedness by others. I will RETURN!

To be fair, it's been a while now since I've been to this location, so perhaps the staff has changed over since. I ended up calling them and alerting them that I was here. Then, their tap machine was malfunctioning. The attendant kept insisting it wasn't the machine's fault (even though multiple different cards wouldn't tap) and made us leave the car to insert and enter the pin. By the time we were done, icy snow had slid down my husbands back. So much fun.
