So I called Firestone and was able to get tires for almost exactly the same price as Costco. He ordered the tires in for us that day and mounted them in the afternoon. Since then I have used them for mechanical repairs and inspections on other vehicles including my company Duramax diesel 3/4 T pickups. They have a GM trained mechanic which is a great asset for me. One truck had been having battery issues for about 10 years. I had taken it to different shops who all told me it was just faulty batteries and would replace one or both of them. This had become an almost annual event. I tried but could not convince any of these shops that the problem was not the batteries but rather something else was killing them. Yesterday I took this truck to Firestone for another repair and asked them to troubleshoot my battery problem for me while it was there. The GM mechanic found the problem for me solving a decade old problem that other shops couldn't solve. Throughout all of my dealings with this shop they have never tried to upsell me. They instead have suggested more conservatively priced alternatives. All of their work from tire sales, repairs and installations, brake work, suspension and front end work to engine/mechanical work has been excellent. Over the years this Firestone shop has really earned the 5 star rating I've given them.
