We got a spicy beef, a chicken, and a spinach patty to share for two people. We both were not a fan of the spinach. It was too goopy and the seasoning was a bit off. We agreed that the chicken was decent and one of the better chicken patties we have had from a chain store. The spicy beef was the best. Even though the meat is a bit goopy and oozes out so easily, it is well-seasoned with a slight kick and pairs nicely with the flaky crust. It is the best of the three kinds that we tried. For high tea they have The Royal Madison which offers you choice of tea, pastries, homemade scones with lemon curd and clotted cream, assorted finger sandwiches and fresh fruit. For $10 more you can get Megan's High Tea which also includes a slice of quiche, a cup of soup and champagne, a mimosa or fruit juice. We opted for the Megan's High Tea and I'm so glad we did. The spinach/feta quiche and the carrot ginger soup were both very good. My mimosa was perfect and was the perfect accompaniment for the finger sandwiches. The scones were warm right out of the oven and were so delicious that I'm still thinking about them a day later. I really enjoyed all the finger sandwiches with their different fillings, it's hard to pick a favorite. The tea was perfect the hardest part was picking one from the vast array of choices. They also have a cute little gift shop area that's worth checking out. Among the things they sell are a nice selection of assorted teas.
