You could not tell the chicken from the crusty outside. I wanted to exchange it for something that was at least kind of soft. The female behind the counter said said "sorry cannot do that". I said do you see how hard it is and I banged the chicken tender on the counter. She just looked at me and I said I can't like maybe the Burger at least it looks fairly soft. She said "no". I replied, "you mean I bought it my tough luck? If I was stupid enough to trust this place that's my fault it's on me"? She seemed rather unfazed like it happens all the time. She just sat there on her chair/stool looking at me as if waiting for me to leave so I did.

Love coming here for my gas!…read more Who doesn't like to find the cheapest gas in the area? I know I love finding deals like this. This location will soon have a 7 eleven. Stay tune people! Price: has always been cheaper than at any other Shell gas stations that I've seen or been to. Even though they have a few questions at the pump before you can actually pump gas I really don't mind because gas is cheap here. They use to have a car wash but they took it out so hopefully that particular question will be taken off. Fingers crossed. This place is convenient and cheap for me so I'm there! Will travel! Just saying.

I like this gasoline station as it's not like most places off or near freeways that charge you an arm and a leg- sometimes 20 cents more. At night the place is well lit and has easy access back to the freeway. So I just drive up, gas up and go. I have a gold Shell gas card so I get 5 cents discount per gallon. If you link it to a MasterCard and/or Ralph's card then you can get 10 cents off. Costco is still the cheapest but if you're in need of of a fill up late at night then this Shell is the cheaper alternative.

It's cheaper across the street, but it's across the street and I'm already here. Anyway, it goes downhill from there. First pump's screen was so bad you couldn't read it to process credit card. Then I tried the next one and the machine froze. Waited about 5-10 mins and still no gas, so I cancelled and went across the street for cheaper gas, then find out Shell has two holds on my card for $125 each. They better not charge me for anything. Argh! The food at Lolita's was amazing though.

This Chevron ExtraMile now requires customers to hand over their ID to purchase California Lottery tickets. When I presented mine, the senior cashier scanned it. I asked a simple question: "Is my personal information being recorded? If so, where does it go?" Her response? "It's company policy." I explained that, under the Privacy Act, I have a right to ask what information is being collected and how it's being used. I also pointed out that company policy doesn't automatically override people's legal rights or privacy concerns. Her final answer: "You can go buy your tickets elsewhere." Fair enough. But scanning and potentially storing a customer's identification just to sell a State lottery ticket seems like an awfully strange policy. I only wanted a chance to win the lottery--not an audition for a background check.
