Even though they have a few questions at the pump before you can actually pump gas I really don't mind because gas is cheap here. They use to have a car wash but they took it out so hopefully that particular question will be taken off. Fingers crossed. This place is convenient and cheap for me so I'm there! Will travel! I like this gasoline station as it's not like most places off or near freeways that charge you an arm and a leg- sometimes 20 cents more. At night the place is well lit and has easy access back to the freeway. So I just drive up, gas up and go. I have a gold Shell gas card so I get 5 cents discount per gallon. If you link it to a MasterCard and/or Ralph's card then you can get 10 cents off. Costco is still the cheapest but if you're in need of of a fill up late at night then this Shell is the cheaper alternative.

It seems this location actually cares about service and upkeep of their restrooms, since the associate actually greeted me when I entered through the entrance and when I went straight to the bathroom, I happened to notice that they had a sign indicating to let the associate know if anything needed to be refilled/cleaned in the bathroom. Little details like that are greatly appreciated, and the main area with snack/drink selections looked very organized and tidy as well. Super easy to fill up, friendly service, and an easy to access (and clean) bathroom makes this place ideal for anyone that could be looking for a specific gas station on Yelp, haha.

The owner's "son", is a rude, belligerent, loud mouth, who should not be working in customer service field. I had parked at one of the station pumps to get some gas but I had to take an important phone call that delayed that. It was no more than 5 minutes before the son comes knocking on my window and aggressively starts asking me if "I'm I going to get gas or what!?", I proceeded to let him that I had every intention of doing so but not anymore because of his pathetic and unprofessional attitude. Not really customer friendly either because the air and water station should be free. However, this place requires you to be a paying customer. Should I purchase a pack of gum, buy a beverage, or just move on to another gas station that doesn't require anything? There's a few other gas stations on Garvey Ave that were nice enough to let me use the air hose.

The payment island on the pump now accepts contact payment. The brand new pumps were in excellent condition and worked flawlessly. The pump would not let me pay outside, told me to go inside, so I did. Inside, the teller is very polite and asks me how much I want to put in the pump. I put $10, just enough to get home. I ask for a receipt, which confirms the $10 amount, get my gas, and go home. All seemed well. This morning, I get an email from Amex warning about possible fraudulent activity on my card. Apparently, I was charged over $100 at the gas station. Luckily, I still have my receipts (both the one from inside and the one the pump gives after you're done). I check the receipts, both of which say just $10. When I called Amex, they advised me to cancel my card for my own financial safety. It clearly was not a mistake, seeing as the printed receipts said $10 but the charged amount was different. I advise staying far away from this location. If you have to go, pay with cash, though I would suggest you just don't go at all.
