I'm writing this review, reasons I had trouble with the car wash vacuum, I payed with Apple Pay and the vacuum turned on but it had no suction, so I went to speak with 7eleven employee since the vacuum is labeled 7-Eleven VAC , so Upon my encounter with the request for my $15 (I call now investment) i wasn't going to describe the identity of this species till I seen this dark skinned female stocking in the wings with gloves and whipping her gloves with napkins and proceeded to handle currency/moneys/shillings/monies, as we call it here in the English speaking USA, the shillings is mainly used now in Europe, Africa, anywho back to the 7eleven employee not taking off her gloves and proceeded to handle the bbq wings with the same gloves, only time the employee cleaned the the glove was to not to get the mutilated currency dirty with bbq sauce , I used that term, feds describe mutilated currency right before it's burned in pallets and then are able to print more using the serial numbers on the mutilated monies/currency/Dinar/ shilling, but I guess the 7-Eleven corporate doesn't care like every major corporation out there, this reminds me of the TWILIGHT ZONE!!!! read more

I either come here or go across the street to the Mobile gas station. Whichever one is less busy. Their gas prices is probably one of the lowest in the San Gabriel Valley area. They are mostly busy all day since it's right off the 60 freeway. I hate their computers in their pumps because it always seems to be very slow whenever I pay by credit card. Went yesterday morning to pump gas there was a lady before me trying to pump gas as well and she had a food 4 less voucher or coupon, Mayra told her she couldn't used it so the lady asked for my help and I told her that she always uses it here, when taking care of the lady she was on her phone saying "I don't know why they don't think I speak Spanish it's so dumb" and starts laughing the whole time she took care of her she was on her cell phone and business phone, it was my turn I had a 100 Dollar bill and wanted to pump 75 dollars she then proceeds to tell me I don't have change I only needed 25 dollars back. So I left to give my business to mobile and most likely won't be coming back to this shell. Consistently nice Carwash. The only unclear thing is when to exit from the Carwash since it seems like you should stick around for a bit to have your car machine dried. This might only matter when there's the pressure of a lot of cars waiting behind you. read more

The posted sign said $2.89 with car wash $3.09 without. I chose yes for the car wash and it still said $3.09 at the pump so I cancelled it and went inside to the cashier. Charged me for gas and the $9 car wash. Got to the pump and guess what it still said $3.09. For regular. Went back to the cashier and she answers me with a 'tude and was quick to cancel the transaction but guess what? All car wash sales are final. So I still ended up getting the car wash and paying for the price of gas without car wash. What a load of crapola. The car wash itself was another big disappointment. Usually an ok gas station with acceptable service. However, this morning a female employee was at the car wash yelling at customers, accusing them of not having paid for car washes. She apparently did not see the green light flashing at the entrance of the car wash and accused customers of not having inputted the code. Without the code, the car wash does not function. Why would anyone enter a nonfunctioning car wash? She was extremely loud, rude, and unprofessional. This is, by far, one of the cheapest gas stations around. I tend to pump here, or at Costco, because of how competitive they are in prices to other stations. This one is right off of th 60 and 605 fwys. And that's why it's odd that their prices are still so low. They have a convenience store that rivals your classic AM/PM. Because of their prices, if you go during the day, there's usually a small wait for a pump. But, a small wait is nothing when you are saving anywhere from 10-20 cents per gallon. I love this Shell and have debated on Yelping it for fear that my little secret would become known to all. Gas station usually has lowest prices compared to nearby stations. If you purchase a car wash you get gas for $.20 cent less per gallon. Not too shabby. However I've realized that whatever wash you pick ( there are 4 different options) you get the same wash. So pick the cheapest wash. I've opted for the $10 wash, the $9 and the $8 and you get that same as the $7 dollar wash. No rainbow wax, no special wax, no wax of any kind. So always do the $7 dollar wash. It won't get into the cracks and crevices, but it will do an overall relatively decent wash for $7 bucks. Whoever maintains the wash needs to refill the wax. The lady working here was really rude. This was around 12:30 pm 12/25/2018. I had just got done pumping gas and wanted to wash my car. I had asked for $3 because I knew I would need more than one vacuum cycle. She said she could only give me $1.50 when she had way than more enough change. I was like fine I'll try to get it done in one. Nope I had to go back and ask for more change. So I ask for another $2.00 in change and she gives me an attitude saying that she needs the change for the customers. When I had just paid for gas and a car wash. I told her I am a paying customer and that I had just pumped gas. And she still only gave me $1.00. And I had to scrounge up the rest of the change. It's not my fault you're working on Christmas. Very poor customer service. I was there last week for gas. It's always busy during the day. I had to go inside to pay for gas because the credit card slot was not working. There were three girls working at the cashier. One girl was helping another customer and the other two were doing something on the register for 5 mins without addressing me. So i waited but I was getting annoyed and almost walked out of there. Never going there again even if the gas is 5 cents cheaper than Mobil next door. Gas at a decent price. Very convient for me since I can go on the 605 or 60 freeway. Also close by Rio Hondo College. Reason being for 2 stars is because I pay with credit card. Now for some reason.... im never allowed to pump more than $50!!!!!! $#!@ !! At first I thought it was my card that was giving me problems so I went to try it at shells next to home. My review is not of the gas or service there but of the shady people who begs for money at this location. Apparently for whatever reason, people who don't have enough money to buy gas choose this place to beg from cars for change. It's like an epicenter or something. There are people who humbly ask for change and if you say no, they leave you alone. Then there are kids who are trying to get you to buy whatever charity candy they selling, which I understand. Thing happen and people run out of money for gas. The gem of it all is this young kid, like 25ish who was driving a late 90s BMW. He was trying to make it to Riverside and ran out of money. He approached me at 7am in the morning and asked for 10 bucks and explains his son story. Since when was 10 bucks loose change? This fucker aims high. But the real kicker is when he doesn't take no for an answer and tries to hard sell me. You know those sleazy car salesmen who say whatever they need to, to sell you a car? This little high school reject goes on to reason "at least I'm not out here robbing people, you know I can just rob you .....but I'm past that" I was just dumbfounded that he said that. He then says do I have a credit card and can't I just put it on my credit card? He wouldn't take no for an answer. So after telling him multiple times that I just don't have any change to give him ( I do but fuck him I don't owe him anything)....I finish pumping gas and turn and walk away. He has to end the conversation by saying " don't walk away from me when I'm talking to you, that's rude and disrespectful" Now I don't know about anybody else but I don't need to put up with beggers like that. Do yourself a favor and go to Mobile next door or the Shell down the street on the other side be of the 605, there's never a line or beggers there. Go here at your own risk! And oh yeah, the motel next door is one of those drug reject dens....so you will get trash from the motel hanging around making everyone uncomfortable also. The prices are great but the cashier was the worst I've ever encountered. She refused to give me my change with out going into the line, which was fine. But when the people in line let me go ahead, she still refused. I am disabled and had ran out of oxygen as I stood there trying to get her to attend me. I got SCAMMED here! I put $5 for gas and when I started driving the gas meter was still empty and the electronic drive to empty was at 19 miles left which was what I arrived with. This is a Shell gas station. When I used other type of APP, I could hardly find this location. I have to get gas for my car today Tuesday 7-25-17 because I saw a light was on in my car dashboard last Friday night when I moved my car back on the driveway. Last Sunday the new moon day of reap June month, I passed by and saw this gas station and its price sign. So here I am, and fill up the tank with a discount of $0.40 per gallon from Ralphs Reward plus additional discount of $0.20 per gallon for the car wash. I have totally saved $10.41 for gas while paying out $7 for car wash. Love it. I have also learned that the car wash doesn't have to take place in one trip of the gas filling--the car wash code is good for three months. Love it more. Oh, I am sold. read more

I used to always look at the price of the pump to decide which gas station to pump Because their prices are both similar. Today is my time ever supporting this particular shell station because their business practice is very sneaky. When the sign outside has two column of price, you would only assume that one is cash and the other is credit card. It's a savings of 20 cent. I inconvenience myself for the extra 20 cent. When I was done pumping, I realized that the price was the same like the credit card. So I went in to ask why the price is the same. She said everyone assumes that. How can a gas station get 1 star, very easily, Customer Service. I went in on Friday 7/11/14 to use a car wash ticket from when I pumped gas on 7/4/14. When you agree to purchase a car wash before you pump, the price of gasoline drops .10 cents a gallon. I usually do this on days that I have to fill up my tank. So I am waiting behind 3 cars. One is inside being washed, and the other two are waiting. Overall I waited like 10 - 12 minutes. It's finally my turn, I punch in my code and it says it's invalid. I tried again like 3 more times. I have to drive past the car wash. I go to the cashier and ask her whats the problem? The code was good till 7/14/14. She says "Ohh, that happens some time." Really, Wow! great! Guess what, since I left the car wash, there where another three cars behind me waiting. Do you really think I want to wait another 15 minutes because your system is faulty. What got me upset was, no Sorry here's an upgrade or anything. Just pretty much, Tough $#!+, that's life. BTW, I was dealing with the manager.
