Service here is impeccable. Close to the 60 freeway. Prices are cheaper for those getting a car wash. Pay attention to the sign. Would recommend this gas station for those in search for some cheap gas. Also has a 7 Eleven attached to it. read more

Price they have is a lie. They over charge per gallon almost 30'cents. The price advertised is only if you get a car wash. The price in the board strictly says with cash. Not with cash and car wash. Marissa the assistant manager doesn't is rude and doesn't care about her customers. Furthermore. She doesn't know her own stores information. She barked at me to look it up online. read more

Shell - 30 cents with car wash. Not 30 with car wash plus cash. - Gas Stations Near Me - South El Monte, California

Cheapest Gas in town only thing I don't understand is the store hours open 24/7 because this store tend to close randomly. For like 3-4hrs before reopening semi-frustrated this happened to me more than once, had to drive to closest Shell which is on Pellissier Pl. other side of Peck Rd. read more

Shell - a closed sign in a store window - Gas Stations Near Me - South El Monte, California

I either come here or go across the street to the Mobile gas station. Whichever one is less busy. Their gas prices is probably one of the lowest in the San Gabriel Valley area. They are mostly busy all day since it's right off the 60 freeway. I hate their computers in their pumps because it always seems to be very slow whenever I pay by credit card. Sometimes it doesn't even work. Anyhow, I come here for the convenience when I am around the area close to the freeway. It's cool. read more

Went yesterday morning to pump gas there was a lady before me trying to pump gas as well and she had a food 4 less voucher or coupon, Mayra told her she couldn't used it so the lady asked for my help and I told her that she always uses it here, when taking care of the lady she was on her phone saying "I don't know why they don't think I speak Spanish it's so dumb" and starts laughing the whole time she took care of her she was on her cell phone and business phone, it was my turn I had a 100 Dollar bill and wanted to pump 75 dollars she then proceeds to tell me I don't have change I only needed 25 dollars back. So I left to give my business to mobile and most likely won't be coming back to this shell. Mayra is a very rude person and has no customer service, I work in a restaurant and I know how to deal with rude customers and offer great customer service, she needs some pointers read more

Consistently nice Carwash. The only unclear thing is when to exit from the Carwash since it seems like you should stick around for a bit to have your car machine dried. This might only matter when there's the pressure of a lot of cars waiting behind you. read more

Shell - The soap reminds me of Starry Night ($10 deluxe wash) #carwash #vangogh #starrynight - Gas Stations Near Me - South El Monte, California

This place has one of the worst people working for them. Their washer code was invalid, I asked the guy what should I do? And he gave me an attitude. Told me to wait with a dumas look on his face. What a stupid old man. Been going to this place for gas for a while now. Guess they have any garbage working for them now. read more

Yelp please allow us to give zero star rating. PLEASE. I have to revise my review for this place. So I wanted a quick car wash and might as well gas up. The posted sign said $2.89 with car wash $3.09 without. I chose yes for the car wash and it still said $3.09 at the pump so I cancelled it and went inside to the cashier. Charged me for gas and the $9 car wash. Got to the pump and guess what it still said $3.09. For regular. Went back to the cashier and she answers me with a 'tude and was quick to cancel the transaction but guess what? All car wash sales are final. So I still ended up getting the car wash and paying for the price of gas without car wash. What a load of crapola. The car wash itself was another big disappointment. It must've been the worst wash I've had to take my baby to. Never again. I tell you. I'd still get gas from here because they have it cheaper than other places, hence the one star. read more

I came by tonight to get gas, but the pumps weren't letting me use my Fuel Rewards account. The one clerk inside the store wasn't helpful, and the other clerk was outside with her friends getting high. Service has become terrible at this Shell; I don't plan on coming here any longer. read more

I came spent 52 bucks on gas and car wash..went back in to ask cashier if their vacuum worked he said it should..I proceeded to tell him oh because there is a car parked there blocking it, he then laughs and says oh yea it's my car. Well why park there if you have customers that need to use the vacuum ....kid just shrugged his shoulders...oh yea he still didn't move his car...so I didn't vacuum.... read more

So I come to this spot when the Mobil station across the way is packed. I don't really know why one would be packed over the other since the prices are exactly the same other than preference. This gas station is one of many I love ckmimg too, they always remember your name and the bath room is kept clean it can be better but hey lol. I love how fresh their coffee is also! They need to make the homeless people leave, always begging for money and food and even had once Guy offer me crack wtf? Sad but thank you for everything and keep up the good work!!! read more

Came to this Shell Gas Station, today upon leaving from Los Angeles. It was a decent price and the pump worked fine. This Gas Station had a Food Mart, a Subway and a Car Wash. read more

This is, by far, one of the cheapest gas stations around. I tend to pump here, or at Costco, because of how competitive they are in prices to other stations. This one is right off of th 60 and 605 fwys. And that's why it's odd that their prices are still so low. They have a convenience store that rivals your classic AM/PM. Because of their prices, if you go during the day, there's usually a small wait for a pump. But, a small wait is nothing when you are saving anywhere from 10-20 cents per gallon. I love this Shell and have debated on Yelping it for fear that my little secret would become known to all. But being in this economic downturn, I figured that I would be nice and share this bargain. read more

Usually an ok gas station with acceptable service. However, this morning a female employee was at the car wash yelling at customers, accusing them of not having paid for car washes. She apparently did not see the green light flashing at the entrance of the car wash and accused customers of not having inputted the code. Without the code, the car wash does not function. Why would anyone enter a nonfunctioning car wash? She was extremely loud, rude, and unprofessional. I see many reviews here mentioning how the customer service and car wash are better across the street at Mobil. I will give Mobil a try next time. read more

Gas station usually has lowest prices compared to nearby stations. If you purchase a car wash you get gas for $.20 cent less per gallon. Not too shabby. However I've realized that whatever wash you pick ( there are 4 different options) you get the same wash. So pick the cheapest wash. I've opted for the $10 wash, the $9 and the $8 and you get that same as the $7 dollar wash. No rainbow wax, no special wax, no wax of any kind. So always do the $7 dollar wash. It won't get into the cracks and crevices, but it will do an overall relatively decent wash for $7 bucks. Whoever maintains the wash needs to refill the wax. They are really scamming their customers!!! read more

Gas at a decent price. Very convient for me since I can go on the 605 or 60 freeway. Also close by Rio Hondo College. Reason being for 2 stars is because I pay with credit card. Now for some reason.... im never allowed to pump more than $50!!!!!! $#!@ !! At first I thought it was my card that was giving me problems so I went to try it at shells next to home. No issues with that. Went over $50. So I went to my bank to check..... everything is ok there. So I went to ask the cashier today. They don't even know why it stopped at $50. So when they fix this issue, they will get 5 stars read more

The lady working here was really rude. This was around 12:30 pm 12/25/2018. I had just got done pumping gas and wanted to wash my car. I had asked for $3 because I knew I would need more than one vacuum cycle. She said she could only give me $1.50 when she had way than more enough change. I was like fine I'll try to get it done in one. Nope I had to go back and ask for more change. So I ask for another $2.00 in change and she gives me an attitude saying that she needs the change for the customers. When I had just paid for gas and a car wash. I told her I am a paying customer and that I had just pumped gas. And she still only gave me $1.00. And I had to scrounge up the rest of the change. It's not my fault you're working on Christmas. You don't need to take it out on your customers. Which I am a paying customer by the way. read more

Very poor customer service. I was there last week for gas. It's always busy during the day. I had to go inside to pay for gas because the credit card slot was not working. There were three girls working at the cashier. One girl was helping another customer and the other two were doing something on the register for 5 mins without addressing me. So i waited but I was getting annoyed and almost walked out of there. Never going there again even if the gas is 5 cents cheaper than Mobil next door. At least Mobil attendants/owner are attentive and friendlier. read more

My review is not of the gas or service there but of the shady people who begs for money at this location. Apparently for whatever reason, people who don't have enough money to buy gas choose this place to beg from cars for change. It's like an epicenter or something. There are people who humbly ask for change and if you say no, they leave you alone. Then there are kids who are trying to get you to buy whatever charity candy they selling, which I understand. Thing happen and people run out of money for gas. The gem of it all is this young kid, like 25ish who was driving a late 90s BMW. He was trying to make it to Riverside and ran out of money. He approached me at 7am in the morning and asked for 10 bucks and explains his son story. Since when was 10 bucks loose change? This fucker aims high. But the real kicker is when he doesn't take no for an answer and tries to hard sell me. You know those sleazy car salesmen who say whatever they need to, to sell you a car? This little high school reject goes on to reason "at least I'm not out here robbing people, you know I can just rob you .....but I'm past that" I was just dumbfounded that he said that. He then says do I have a credit card and can't I just put it on my credit card? He wouldn't take no for an answer. So after telling him multiple times that I just don't have any change to give him ( I do but fuck him I don't owe him anything)....I finish pumping gas and turn and walk away. He has to end the conversation by saying " don't walk away from me when I'm talking to you, that's rude and disrespectful" Now I don't know about anybody else but I don't need to put up with beggers like that. Do yourself a favor and go to Mobile next door or the Shell down the street on the other side be of the 605, there's never a line or beggers there. Go here at your own risk! And oh yeah, the motel next door is one of those drug reject dens....so you will get trash from the motel hanging around making everyone uncomfortable also. Who be knew pumping gas can be so dangerous, got to watch for the gas prices AND your back when you go here. read more

On Saturday the 11th around 6:30 p.m I went to this particular gas station. I walked in and said what number and how much money I would like to be put. I gave the money to the cashier I believe her name was Melissa or Marissa or something to that matter. She rudely took it and gave unnecessary attitude. Being customer service she should have been more polite and more respectful towards me for being the customer, her hygiene as well made it very hard to stand specifically her scent. After this encounter I will not be back. read more

Absolutely! Disappointed! 2 Disrespectful women that are employed there were working tonight (8/5/18 @ 8:40pm) and I went in with my boyfriend just to get water. And we had "chip malfunctions" on his card. So he was thinking to swipe the card instead of inserting it. and the lady was incredibly rude said that it wasn't going to work. There are many ways to accept a debit/credit card. These women didn't have to be a bitches and saying stupid things and go tell everyone that they're closing the store at 9:40 because they have TINDER DATES!! like are you serious?! This gas station is 24 hours and they had the audacity to go telling people this. You guys have no business being in the work industry if you're going to be treating people like shit and being stupid in general. read more

So cheap gas, but do Not go through the car wash! It's a waste of $5, $10 or whatever you get. Get your gas and leave. The car wash left my car with hard water stains just now and it looks worse then it did before. Make the drive somewhere else to get your car washed. read more

The prices are great but the cashier was the worst I've ever encountered. She refused to give me my change with out going into the line, which was fine. But when the people in line let me go ahead, she still refused. I am disabled and had ran out of oxygen as I stood there trying to get her to attend me. When I asked for her managers number, she refused. She refused to give me her name. She started making fun of me " what, aren't you out of breath?" And still wouldn't give me my change. Eventually she said her name was Alexis. I don't know that I believe her. But the tattoo across her chest is going to make it easy to identify her to her manager. Oh, and when I called the station, she answered & hung up on me. read more

I used to always look at the price of the pump to decide which gas station to pump Because their prices are both similar. Today is my time ever supporting this particular shell station because their business practice is very sneaky. When the sign outside has two column of price, you would only assume that one is cash and the other is credit card. It's a savings of 20 cent. I inconvenience myself for the extra 20 cent. When I was done pumping, I realized that the price was the same like the credit card. So I went in to ask why the price is the same. She said everyone assumes that. It's only that price if you use the car wash. Enough said, scanless. Good bye, I'd rather support mobile from now on. read more

How can a gas station get 1 star, very easily, Customer Service. I went in on Friday 7/11/14 to use a car wash ticket from when I pumped gas on 7/4/14. When you agree to purchase a car wash before you pump, the price of gasoline drops .10 cents a gallon. I usually do this on days that I have to fill up my tank. So I am waiting behind 3 cars. One is inside being washed, and the other two are waiting. Overall I waited like 10 - 12 minutes. It's finally my turn, I punch in my code and it says it's invalid. I tried again like 3 more times. I have to drive past the car wash. I go to the cashier and ask her whats the problem? The code was good till 7/14/14. She says "Ohh, that happens some time." Really, Wow! great! Guess what, since I left the car wash, there where another three cars behind me waiting. Do you really think I want to wait another 15 minutes because your system is faulty. What got me upset was, no Sorry here's an upgrade or anything. Just pretty much, Tough $#!+, that's life. BTW, I was dealing with the manager. I'll make it a point to go to the Mobil across the street from now on, same premium gas, same price, the only thing that would bring me to Shell was the car wash, but I'll find other gas station options read more

This is a Shell gas station. When I used other type of APP, I could hardly find this location. I have to get gas for my car today Tuesday 7-25-17 because I saw a light was on in my car dashboard last Friday night when I moved my car back on the driveway. Last Sunday the new moon day of reap June month, I passed by and saw this gas station and its price sign. So here I am, and fill up the tank with a discount of $0.40 per gallon from Ralphs Reward plus additional discount of $0.20 per gallon for the car wash. I have totally saved $10.41 for gas while paying out $7 for car wash. Love it. I have also learned that the car wash doesn't have to take place in one trip of the gas filling--the car wash code is good for three months. Love it more. Oh, I am sold. read more

The new car wash is pretty sad when it comes to drying. $7 for express wash. At the end it says that you have so much time left to drive through to dry, but the dryer stopped when we had about 4min30sec left on the timer. The car was only halfway through. We went in to complain and they let us wash again. Same results, we had to drive through the dryer quicker.... car still isn't dry. :( We let the worker know so that hopefully the owner will get the message so they can fix the timing issue. For now, I'll continue my washes over at Mobil. read more
