It makes no sense to refuse service over $5 when the customer is ready and willing to pay. If there are cash-only fees, that should be made clear before people come in and waste their time. The customer service was unprofessional, the attitude was rude, and the entire experience was frustrating. I came here expecting a simple oil change and ended up arguing over a payment method. I will never come here again and would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other businesses that actually value their customers.

I recently break a wheel stud on my 2013 Acura TSX (bought it from the dealership as a pre-own in 2015) on the front passenger side. And honestly speaking it not too difficult to repair it if you know what you are doing and have the proper tools; anyways I came across the shop when driving by and saw a 2013 Dodge Charger Hellcat inside the shop being worked on. So I figure to ask for a quote since that car isn't your typical Honda or Toyota to be worked on. Timmy is a well spoken man and down to earth; he was transparent and clear on what it would take to todo the job. I drop off my car the next morning and he promised that if any thing came up he would give me a call. So an hour later he called and explained that due to the axle arm design of that vehicle it made it nearly impossible to get into the broken stud without disconnecting it completely; and so that he need to increase the price for labor work, but promised that he will still have it done by day's end. So by another hour and half later he informed me that the car was ready and that I could pick it up; even notice that I had a new set of lock nuts in my truck and offer to install them since I was missing a nut for the new stud. When I picked up the car he was very attending and even admired how clean and well maintenance I had my car all these years; even saying that for a young man that I am, it surprised him that I didn't have it tricked out. He also mentioned that the team noticed my rear wheel nuts were a little loose, so they decide to not only install the new lock nuts but to also property expect my tires and make the necessary adjustments to secure that my nuts weren't loose or if my studs were damaged for driving it loose. Overall my experience was very high and want to point that the management are professional, the shop is very clean, and the price was exactly in the ballpark of what I expected to be for the labor, the time frame was under a couple of hours. I generally don't do yelp reviews; but again for a mechanic shop that generally could have a stigma for over the head prices in that kinda of work force, it is worth the review in hopes that others can acknowledge their work and expect the kinda of service you can get if you know what needs to be done. I'll definitely will return for any other maintain works or repairs needed or even recommend others to seek their services.

Then it was my turn. I had just come from a horrible experience in Manhattan where they told me my car would fail inspection because of my rotors. The technician here looked at my car and said, "Your rotors and tires are new. They do not need to be replaced." I passed inspection with no issues. They probably saved me a lot of money. After seeing how they treated other customers too, I completely understand their great reviews. They've earned a loyal customer -- this will now be my go-to mechanic.

Dishonest, Hostile, and Unprofessional…read more I came in simply asking for a quote on the warning lights that came up on my dashboard. I made it very clear I did not want any work done without approval. Immediately, I was lied to and told I needed oil changes four times a year (completely false for my driving habits and my vehicle). The quote they then gave me for the diagnosis alone was absurdly inflated ($230 for a basic diagnosis I later found elsewhere for a fraction of the cost). When I politely declined and asked them only to refill and test my antifreeze, they told me their mechanic had "accidentally" gone ahead and performed some of the diagnostic/repair work anyway--and then tried to charge me $90 for it. When I questioned why they would perform unauthorized work, the manager became hostile, accused me of refusing to pay for services (I never refused to pay for the antifreeze and I respectfully declined the quote given, I didn't make the mistake of completing unauthorized work), and even threatened to hold my car hostage. He hung up on me, then called back angrily, sarcastically asking if he should "take the antifreeze out." When I picked up my car, he acted cordial as if nothing happened. I paid for the antifreeze as agreed, but the dashboard lights were not fixed (contrary to what he claimed - lies upon lies). To make matters worse, my receipt was falsified--it stated I "refused to pay for diagnostic" ($250, not even the quoted $230 - and they completed the diagnosis without authorization), banned me from the shop, and stated I "refused to pay for anything after diagnosis". This was the most gaslighting, dishonest, and unprofessional experience I've ever had at an established business. I used to recommend this business, but after being lied to, threatened, and falsely accused, I strongly urge anyone reading this to stay far away. There are plenty of honest mechanics out there--this place is not one of them.
