Not knowing that as I cross the George Washington Bridge that the tire would blow out. Thankfully a tow truck came quickly and took me to Mavis Discount Tires. I was told that the new tire I received was of low quality brand. The shop manager mentioned that the inner rim was busted. As a result I end up paying double for tow truck and the tire replacement. I couldn't drive anywhere to get it fixed so I started calling around. I called Javi flat fix and the guy that usually does roadside assistance was not working. I can't remember the name of the guy that came to plug my tire, but he felt so bad for me. He came out to help and he has no idea how grateful I am. I'm not a big city girl, and I was panicking being stuck on the side of the road on a Sunday night with nowhere to go. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I was 15 mins early but still had to wait. Customer service okay not friendly. Also make sure you check everything before an inspection at that place becuase they will charge you just for a little light bulb for your license plate $30 plus the inspection cost $37, I'm thought I would be lucky because I already purchased a light bulb but it was the wrong one for license plate bulb which was so small, so they will be truthful for there car inspection.

Very fair price for very fast and efficient service for an in-stock used tire replacement from…read moredrive up service. It was 9:30am on Tuesday and the tire on the vehicle I'm taking care of was flat once again when it had to be moved for off sides parking. I had my own air compressor to pump it up as much as possible, but knew the tire needed replacement based on cracks in the rubber and it running flat frequently. I also knew I couldn't afford brand new tires at $170-$300 each. I wasn't sure if the tire could or even should be repaired based on how cracked and old it seemed, and the shop agreed it wasn't likely to hold a repair, so I asked about used tire replacement. They said they could do used tires for around $55 each. That was with installation, which they did very quickly on the street in about 15-20min. I was so glad they had tires in stock and were able to come in at a price that I could afford on the spot, as well as doing the job quickly. The used tires aren't guaranteed for any mileage or returnable, as stated in their shop signage, but they will issue a credit or replacement within a short period (undefined on any document) if the tire doesn't hold up. They didn't really do balancing or alignment checks at that price that I could tell, but they did install the tires and take the old ones in less than 30min. I was obviously a budget request for tire replacement and they took good care of me as a budget client in an efficient way at a price that was reasonable and affordable. Cash and credit were accepted.

A few weeks later when our car was hit while parked in a lot, we brought it right to A & A. They worked with our insurance to get an estimate quickly and began work. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they also saw that our inspection was due in a few weeks and took care of that at no charge! Joseph and his team made a stressful situation completely calm. I will encourage anyone that needs work done - big or small - to go to A&A. They are the most pleasant and honest crew. I can't say enough good things about them.

Bad idea. I just got off the Hugh Tunnel on my way to Jersey for work, heading toward the Lincoln, when I suddenly heard the weirdest noises. Next thing I know, my tire completely busted. Of course, being in the city makes everything harder. Finding a tire shop out here is nothing like Brooklyn, where there are ten shops within five miles. I looked up a place, drove all the way there, only to find out they were closed. At that point, I crossed my fingers and hoped Carlos Tires would still be open and thank God they were.
