This time, we also needed a change of clothes so we could go straight to dinner. Our original plan was to stop at the Louisiana Welcome Center to change. But once we stopped at this gas station and saw how clean and big the bathrooms were, we changed those plans. The gas station itself is really big with what appears to be a big inventory. But we weren't there for any road snacks. We were there to fill up for gas... which we did. For future stops, it will probably serve the same snackless, gas filling purpose. When we walked in the cashier was very upbeat and friendly for being up this early on a Monday. Just like outside, the inside of the gas station was also clean. Subway was adjoining to this place were closed but it was ok. We end up grabing sandwiches and used their microwave to heat up the pizzas they sold. The staff and I joke around and make short conversation in short time at the register. As well for the store, there is always hot pizza and and tasty pastrys and a beer cave.
