The employees just keep getting dumber. They can't read their own sign and then argue with me about it. For example, the sign clearly says "#10, $5.49, 4 chicken tenders and a biscuit, add a side and a drink for $2". When I say #10, they ring me up for $7.49 and ask me what side I want. I tell them I don't want the side, and they tell me that's not a number 10, "he doesn't want the combo." Like I don't know what I'm ordering. When I point out that it says a #10 is $5.49, and I don't want the extras, they go back and forth with me about a #10 being $7.49. How is it $7.49 when it says it's $5.49? This has happened multiple times with multiple employees. If you want food, you have to tell them EXACTLY what you want, because they cannot comprehend their own sign. Watch them too, because more than once, I've gotten home and they forgot something.
I used to buy beer there, and their signs were always wrong. They always changed the price and charged me what is advertised, since they are legally obligated to do that, but no one cares enough to actually fix the price. I got tired of having to point that out every time, and only went there sometimes instead of it being my regular store even though it's the closest to my home.
Another time back when I was a smoker, I bought a pack of cigarettes, and realized when I got to my car that I need a lighter too. I went back in and the same girl rung me out, then another employee runs up to her and chews her out for not carding me. She told her that she just carded me 2 minutes ago, which was true, and the older lady says that doesn't matter and was very rude to her, which made me uncomfortable.
A.) She carded me 2 minutes ago, I didn't get 15 years younger when I walked outside.
B.) I'm fairly certain that there isn't even an age restriction on lighters.
C.) I'm 30.
It got to where instead of this being my go-to store, because I wanted to help keep them in business since their location is convenient for me, it became a store that I only go to once every blue moon. I was considering leaving a 2 star review today, and went in one more time because I wanted some chicken. There's a guy standing behind the food texting on his phone. I walked up and said I want a 2 piece mix with a biscuit (since I can't say #1, that would confuse them). He shrugs and points to the lady at the register, who has 2 people in line. So she asks him why he can't do it. He responds that he is a cook and doesn't know how to make a 2 piece chicken. She explains to put 2 pieces of chicken in a bag, like he's an idiot, which he definitely is. Why is this dumbass standing there if he's not going to do anything? Go sit in the back and hide if you're too lazy and stupid to do anything.
I'm done with this place, I won't even buy gas there now. read more
