A quick fill up would be great but you can't even pay at any of the pumps. Place is absolutely disgusting.

I had to drive out to this Shell Gas Station last night and it was 8 p.m. but the good thing was that the weather conditions was good because even though it was pitch black outside the sky was very clear outside. I am updating my review on this Shell Gas Station because I have received (excellent customer service) at this Shell Gas Station last night from Kelvin. I feel really bad now that on my previous review I had written a bad review on Kelvin's poor customer service he gave to me on my last visit. I walked towards the convenience store and walked inside their 2 double doors. I saw Kevlin and Bryan was working at the cash register last night. I waited my turn because I was in line waiting to be served. This Friday night, it was very busy inside their convenience store, which I saw a lot of men customers and some women customers like myself were waiting in line to pay for their gas and their snacks. When it was my turn to be served by Kelvin. I asked Kevlin, How much should I pay him to put half a tank of gas in my car? Kevlin told me $25.00. I said okay, thank you. I also bought 3 bags of chips. These 2 bags of chips were the POPCORNERS Kettle Corn, Sweet & Salty Chips and one bag of the Lay's Cheetos Cheese flavored Chips. The total cost was $7.68 plus the $25.00. to equal the grand total $32.68. But before I left to put some gas in my car. I asked Kelvin, can I get his advice on my boyfriend Steve? Kevlin said sure. I showed Kelvin these (several screenshots), I had to take to show my boyfriend Steve that I really was going to this Shell Gas Station last night. Because Steve he sent me a text message and he said to me "Be Safe out there Frances, even though you are NOT going to be going anywhere tonight. " I was very angry when I received his condescending attitude towards me and he didn't believe me. It bothered me. I asked Kevlin for his help and please, can he give me his opinion on Steve? Kelvin said Sure. Kelvin said to me last Friday night, your online boyfriend Steve's personality is a Toxic Person and if Kelvin was me, he said he would break up with Steve because Steve has a really demanding and a very controlling personality. I agreed with Kelvin. Kelvin said Steve was being really disrespectful to me in sending me this text message. Kelvin also said to me yesterday, I deserve a man who loves me for who I am and he treats me with respect and always kindness. I agree with Kelvin. I sent Steve a text message yesterday night, when I was in my car and I said his bad attitude towards me has cost him in me breaking up with him. I also said I don't deserve to be disrespected by him and him not trusting me that I had to go to this Shell Gas Station. Steve and I have never met in person so every conversation with us is always online and in text messages. Steve's personality would be worse to me in person. Kelvin helped me to make a good decision in leaving my online long distance relationship with Steve. It's not real to me until, I meet someone in person and I talk to him. Note: I sent Steve my boyfriend a text message this evening on (Saturday, September 2, 2023), and I told him that he should (apologize to me) in exhibiting his bad attitude towards me. Steve sent me several text messages tonight and he told me that he is very sorry for behaving this way towards me and he will not ever ask me again where I am going to and what are the names of these stores I will be visiting? Then Steve said he felt embarrassed when I wrote a Review about his bad behavior on this Yelp website on this Shell Gas Station asking for Kelvin's good advice. I realized the best thing for me to do and other women is don't put up with any kind of bad behavior from your boyfriend and tell your boyfriend he's needs to give you an apology or else you are going to break up with him. This line works every time. Then I said that's great for me to know and I was giving him a taste of his own medicine. LMAO! read more

Filthiest gas station ever. Diesel fuel all over the ground. Didn't realize until I was putting gas in the car and now my shoes are oily and I have to get in my car with filthy shoes. If you're going to charge high prices at least cleanup your station (all fuel islands there are a mess, whether it's the diesel pump or not). Thanks for nothing. read more

I honestly wish I could leave a 0 star. This man in the photo was outside at 730 in the morning yelling at everyone and then stopped the pumps twice. I couldn't even pump 10$ in my car and when I asked him to let me finish my 10$ as I was at 8$ because I have to work and have to get my three children to school he proceeded to scream at me! Started running his mouth and was absolutely disgustingly rude. Not only was he yelling at me but he yelled at his coworkers instead of going into the store to talk to them. This guy should not be in customer service if he can't be respectful. When I was over being yelled at I started yelling back because as a woman no man is going to stand there and yell at me in front of my children. He got mad and told me not to yell at him. I like Shell but this location is right off the 76 so the gas prices are really expensive! They have a car wash which is nice but I've never used it so anyway. Shell has an excellent rewards program which I love and it saves me a lot of money. I have two cars so I go to Shell when filling up my everyday driver. On the weekend I usually go to Chevron because I know that the gas quality is much better. Shell is a-okay with me! read more

Let me be up front about this place: It sells gasoline. I just wanted to get that out on the front end. Ok ok that being said, it's pretty sketch. For those who have been living under a rock, "sketch" means "sketchy." Various vagrants live in the adjacent parking lot. So far it's been safe, but I wouldn't leave my car unattended. read more

If you must come here do not pay with cash. I put $20 in cash on my station and I didn't feel the pump going until $2 in and it stopped its flow $3 early. That means I lost a total $5 getting nothing but air. Starting late and stopping early when you pay with cash is normal enough I suppose but usually I only lose about $1. I've never witnessed myself losing an entire $5 worth of pumped air and in this economy when gas is nearly $7 a gallon that's just highway robbery. Won't be coming back but I'll give 3 stars because the food market was decently kept and the cashier service was friendly. read more

Accidentally walked through store when exiting McDonald's and was "harassed" by Justine--followed me out to my car and would not stop yelling at me for not going out the McDonald's exit! I DID enter through the McDonald's door to go in, but noticed that the exit through the Mart was open so assumed it was okay to exit that way. Visited a few months ago and there was a barrier (door or gate) dividing the Mart from McDonalds. Suggest closing the divider rather than "harass" potential customers. read more

I usually come here for the gas and as I report below I probably won't try the car wash again. But the gas. They have all new pumps and they are the greatest. They are fast. The computer screens make sense. Everything is clean. I like going to this gas station now. The car wash works OK but has a couple issues. First it does not take credit or debit cards. You need to buy gas or go in the store for tens fives and ones. But the reason I won't use this car wash is because the dryer does not work well. The dryer starts it's countdown 10 to 15 seconds before the light turns green to exit and while your car is still being sprayed. The side air jets are very limited. I was halfway across my car when the air turned off. Great for gas. If I hear the car wash is fixed I will try it again and hopefully change to five stars read more

I seriously love this place, the staff is always friendly & welcoming. This is seriously the cleanest gas station I've ever visited. I drive here for quick snacks when I can walk to a store closer to my house but I get peace of mind knowing the place is clean. For quite a few years this place has consistently been higher in gas prices than the 7-11 down the street, but slightly under the Chevron to the East, but higher than the Valero and others to the West. Service is good, staff is friendly and the pump area is generally clean. Plenty of room for parking and a stand alone car wash. The real things to consider is that it's connected to a McDonalds and has a starbucks about 60 feet away. Basically giving it a leg up on the competition. Not a fan of their bathrooms. read more

Gas is way overpriced for the area. Not really worth it if you don't have a Ralph's card with at least 200 points on it, so you can get the 20 cent discount. Clerks inside are all great though. As a smoker, I'm a regular here, though I hope that soon changes. The staff are all nice and are good at remembering faces that frequent. Not really worth any of the food either. read more

I don't give this one star because the staff was unfriendly. Or the location was dirty, for any of those reasons but one. They have the highest gas prices in the city. They don't price at market value and they're ripping off people who need gas last minute. The Shell station is not look out for its consumer, it looks out for the bottom line pure profit. read more

Went to get gas to this station, pump $20.00. Got Tex from my credit card about it and that's fine. However, when I got home, I got another text that another charges for $56.00 on desame day. I called the store about the second charge and lady on the other line said, there's nothing she can do about it! It's so Ashamed when things like this happens to innocent customers like me. Don't ever get a car wash here at night. I paid $9 for the works. Only a little bit of soap came out. Then the timed-blower dryer starts when the machine is still rinsing the truck off and the red light is still flashing. Once the green light turn on to drive through, the timer that started at 99 seconds was already at 69 seconds. When I pulled through to the blower, the machine above was still dripping water with a little bit of suds in it. I asked the clerk for a refund and he said I had to come back in the morning when Jose is here. I told him I have to be at work in the morning, and asked for a phone number to call Jose in the morning. He said he didn't have a number to give me and that I would just have to come back. Please ensure that when you ask for a product, that you are given the correct product. After being handed the incorrect product from the clerk, and informing them that it was incorrect, jose the manager informed me that i could not return it. There is no posted sign about returns. Bird feces? maybe remove 95% .. dry bird feces? wash will leave hard dropplets of feces core at every deposit Trunk seams collect the muddy water rinse ought to have liberated. Well well, I have a story for you on this one. I use the Ralphs rewards to get the discount and that is why I use this station. Something very interesting happened the other day.I was at this Shell station and clearly realized that the pump started registering over $3.00 before it actually starting pumping out the gas. You know how you can feel the vibration when the gas starts dispensing? I was, like "is this thing working?", I looked up at the money was over 3 bucks and then all of a sudden it started to feel like it was dispensing gas. I asked for the manager... I explained the situation and he gave me back $3.00....Man, its bad enough gas in California so expensive, and at $3.49 a gallon, the first gallon, you get no gas!!! The manager was cool about it, but I am sure this happens to a lot of people who don't say or don't even realize they are being ripped off. My 2 stars are one for the Ralphs discount and one for the manager giving me back my money but I won't be going back to this station. read more
