They always close their doors between 6-630. Just today 6/24/22 a guy exits and I'm about to walk in and the doors are locked. I see the guy he ignores me and opens the register to count it. This has happened numerous times at this location. It's always the chubby black guy with gray hair. There's also a lot of homeless just chilling outside so never leave any valuables. I ride a motorcycle and always carry a backpack which has my company's laptop. Ive been yelled out ask asked to leave since they have a sign that says no backpacks allowed. I have given this place many chances and unfortunately I no longer will support them. The only nice person working there is the tall black guy. I pulled into this Chevron at 9:20 pm and the door to the store was locked. The employee was outside talking to someone. I asked him if I could buy some ice and he told me no, that he is on his break until 9:45 pm. What kind of crap is that? You can stand in front of the store but you can't ring me up for some ice? I asked him nice again and he told me no a second time and said it was his break. Don't bother going to this Chevron between 9-10 pm. There were other customers trying to get in the store that were upset too. I suggested they also write a bad review and maybe the owner or manager will do something about it. read more

Terrible customer service. I travel for work and this is my go-to gas station frequently. Today I went inside to buy some snacks and asked to get the key for the bathroom. Mind you I'm dressed very professional and Roseta treated me like a homeless person. She wouldn't give me the key and said "for customers only". I said I am a customer. She then rolled her eyes and pointed to the key. I used the bathroom and kindly paid for some snacks after. However, this will be my last purchase here. Just be kind. read more

I always arrive here during late hours. No matter the reason Melina always accommodates to whatever it is I may need. She always greets with a smile. It's very refreshing to know the employee is happy to serve the customer. She always remembers my face and picks up on the last conversation we had making me feel our little interaction matters for example asking about my daughter. It's a big deal to me ! The Chevron gas station is okay but do not buy the gas here because it is crazy pricey all the time. It's just a basic gas station that has a nice little selection of coffee, hot dogs and a very nice size cooler section of drinks. It's usually pretty busy here because it's right on the 76 and because of Pedro's next door. So the area may not be the best because of the homeless population but they usually don't bother you. You can't get cashback on your purchases but they do have an ATM machine. I use their car wash every once in awhile the price is pretty good and so was the wash. read more

Bad Customer Service and the pumps don't work! Pumps have some new software that doesn't work, I tried 3 pumps and two of them just hung up. I tried to get help but the attendant could care less. Avoid the car wash at this station! It's a complete ripoff. If you're lucky enough to have it work (which it hasn't for me on 3 occasions) it won't come close to getting your vehicle clean. It breaks down regularly in the middle of a wash, usually after the car is soaped up. I've had to go to the car wash down the street just to get the soap off and avoid damage! Stopped at this gas station to refill my tank and go to the bathroom. As i walked in, i saw a worker getting herself a soda. I politely asked her where the bathroom was, to where i received a dirty look and a rude toned response of, "I don't have a key". I then replied, "I can wait for the person to come out if there is one in there." to where the worker shouted at me, "I said it's out of service." I was speechless because I have never received such rude inappropriate behavior from a worker before. For those that live behind the Airport this, 76 and Mohsens are the nearest gas stations, but let's be honest those 2 are a little hood. Mohsens has the cheapest gas around, but it's watered, unkempt and a lot of rif raf running around. I don't mind because I'm from here, but in general it's hood. The 76 down the street although a major brand chose a poor location other than it's proximity to Deiberto's/Molcasalsa which attracts the majority of the traffic. Enough about it's competition though. The reason this place stands out is it is a major brand of gas, it's spacious, well lit, convenient, clean and lastly not hood(for all you non locals). It's got a car wash and is attached to a Mexican food restaurant which isn't bad at all, more on that in another review though. Most gas stations don't stock a lot of menthol light cigarette's and I've had to purchase not my brands before, but never here. Always stocked, in fact overstocked with lighters, energy drinks and the ATM fee isn't half bad. I've gotten gas, air and water her and the car wash is well maintained. The light to go West on the 76 can be long and tricky, but this is a primo gas station for anyone on this part of the 76. Only real bad thing is the pumps are pretty far from the store, probably twice the distance of a usual station, but there are 12 and they aren't bunched, also they have the super tall bay. It's a meet up spot for tow trucks and police officers as well. read more

I go here all the time, and for the most part some of the employees are nice but one in particular really doesn't know how to communicate with other people and I'm not talking a language barrier, no she's just rude. Glasses, very skinny kinda rat looking. Everytime I have to deal with her I just feel like she's counting the seconds until I leave. Pretty sure alot of people feel that way about her too. I visited the Chevron station (8/6/2021) on 76 and Benet in Oceanside to purchase $40 in lottery tickets. When I went to purchase the tickets with my credit card, I was told they only accept cash. Yet the credit card machine stated to insert your credit card. The attendant gave me some BS story that credit cards are only accepted for other C store purchased. I know this was full of manure and will be contacting the owner to inform him that he has a racist employee. This needs to end! read more

Let me tell you what is great about this station...it's close to my home. However; 1/2 of the pumps don't work, the ones that do, the electronic payment at the pump is just a bit slower than 1990's dial-up and most of them are taped together. Get it together! There is plenty of competition less than 1/2 mile away with working/faster everything. And they sell the same gas as you. read more

The owner Alex is rude. I use to go there all the time for coffee and food. I will never go back after this morning. I went in to get two extra large coffees. I was in a hurry so I just grabbed four creamers for each coffee to go. I get to the register and he told me only three creamers per coffee. I thought he was joking, he wasn't. I said to him "that's kind of cheap". Then he called me cheap. Lol! He was very rude. I asked who the owner is, he said it was him. After that I will never go back there. He lost a good customer.
