I have gone through car washes many many times and I know how to follow directions, but it is always with rational calm helpful people. I have never been treated so inappropriately at a business I was using as a customer before. This behavior is unacceptable.

They are very honest about what is or is not needed (spoiler: something your other mechanic told you might not be necessary yet or needed at all). Example: my other place told me that I needed to get rotors replaced (over $1000). This place told me that (1) I could wait until my next oil change in 6000 miles, (2) that they have a machine to resurface rotors instead of replacing them entirely, (3) that it would only cost me about one-third what the other place quoted. They are highly knowledgeable and they are also really good at finding deals. I referred a friend here who needed a part replacing and they called up different car yards to find the part to save her money (of course you can always get the more expensive versions of things too if you want). My friend just really appreciated that they were trying to help her save money. So yeah five out of five. I drive an hour out of my way just to come to these guys here.

Once jumped, it was good for the rest of the day. I would have thought bad battery but the battery was six month's old and had been working perfectly until a week prior. So, I get it started and go see the nice guys at my neighborhood AutoZone (University, in RR). They kindly ran their diagnostic module on my car and it pronounced the battery good and that my charging current failed. They pronounced it 'bad alternator' and I accepted their diagnosis and began looking for a mobile mechanic to replace the alternator. Anyway, after numerous nebulous texts to a litany of mobile mechanics and unable to nail one down on either time/price or both, I contacted Tony at MnM. I dropped the car off and within an hour he called me and said my alternator's fine but your battery's cracked. So, picked up the battery and swapped it out at Costco and took the new one back to MnM and shortly they had me up and running. Their complimentary wifi was fast and they had plenty of cushioned chairs, three work stations, three table tops, and three seats at the bar with available outlets. Coffee and water were available as well. The place was very clean and the staff were all nice despite being so busy. I said yes. They did say it would take about another hour. I was already there and I didn't have any plans to give me a reason to leave. By noon I was all checked out and heading home. The best part is the family room in the waiting area, including a TV, carpet and a soft bench. This meant my two little ones could be in a contained area, have something to distract them every so often. I knew everyone could still hear all the loud talking and random noises, but the seclusion helped them and me. This definitely made the morning manageable. They've got a coffee station and plenty of free cold water. They do have a vending machine for snacks, unless you're a parent and you just carry a bunch anytime you leave the house.

The initial estimate was approximately $1,400, later expanded to ~$2,100 with additional approved items. Approximately one week later, I was informed that additional labor had already been performed due to complications encountered by the assigned technician, Robert Martin. This resulted in an unauthorized increase of approximately $700, which was neither discussed nor approved prior to the work being completed. This raised immediate concerns regarding billing practices. After nearly two weeks in the shop, we were informed that despite the repairs, the vehicle continued to overheat and the shop was uncertain how to proceed. During an in-person visit, interactions with staff (excluding Karl K. and the General Manager, Travis) were unprofessional and defensive. While the General Manager acknowledged communication failures and removed the unauthorized charges, the technician was unable to clearly explain why the overheating issue persisted after the repairs. After being encouraged to allow additional work at no cost, we agreed. Two days later, we were told the issue was resolved by bleeding air from the cooling system. We retrieved the vehicle immediately. Upon pickup, the vehicle was returned with loose bolts placed on the windshield and a non-functional hood latch, an issue that did not exist prior to service. Despite photo documentation, Sun Auto has refused responsibility, attributing the damage to vehicle age and denying fault. While Karl K. acted professionally throughout, the overall experience reflects serious concerns regarding authorization, workmanship, vehicle handling, and accountability. I do not recommend this location. Should the overheating issue recur, I will pursue further action.

Poorly trained staff, and even more lack-luster management. Yesterday I went in for an oil change on my 2012 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Staff made a total mess getting thr oil filter off.... then couldn't get the filter back on. I literally had to climb under my own truck to teach the tech how to install the oil filter. So in the process soaked my shirt in oil, and was covered from finger tips to elbows in oil. I chalked it up as a teaching moment for the tech. I was charged the full amount for my oil change at $185... ticked me off a bit, but thought to myself, I deal with it later. This am July 31st, 2026 I decided to stop by to see if they would toss in my diesel oil filter for me as a gester to do things right by me... nope, knocked $10 off the $99 charge to install my diesel fuel filter which takes no more that 10-15 minutes to do. I decided to call corporate. I just received a call back from the manager of the store on recording with corporate. He said, "unfortunately we cannot refund you on your diesel fuel filter", but we can offer you 50% off your next oil change". Why would I be inclined in any way, shape or form to spend more money with you, when you can eve do it right the 1st time, and charge me an arm and a leg. I told him to keep their 50% off next service, I won't be bringing any vehicle there again. From corporate on down, this place is a joke.
