Circle K was one I noted on my way into Fernandina- a mental note to come back to them when I was done shopping. As I pulled up to the pump and got out I noticed a card on the ground- with a chip. A credit card chip- it didn't look like a standard card, I would guess it was a business card, but I was pretty shocked I happen to look down right at it. I locked my car and proceeded inside to wait in line to turn the card over to the cashier. Hopeful the owner would retrace their steps and locate the card. As for the gas station, prices in this area are on the higher side. Since I went inside- I was surprised to see they had 4 employees working! Impressive for the small station. Although- it was a Saturday. The areas around the pumps were relatively clean. Pumping was slow. And it isn't the easiest to get in and out of unless you are headed northbound.

Not just this cashier but the store management is responsible for correct pricing and hiring, it is obvious that isnt concerned, probably intentional as many customers buy based on the display price and then get ripped off at the register, most dont catch it and those that do are told they can just f off.

Yes we all know that the inside of a gas station store is merely a glorified 7-11 that sells high priced on the run things we think we need, but wow, was this place nice. It was open and bright and there were places to sit, I was impressed. When I went to the counter to get my card, the very nice employee told me that RaceTrac uses an app for their loyalty program. She then showed me which app to download and after I had signed up she went thru all of the perks of coming to RaceTrac. I was very impressed at her enthusiasm and genuineness at helping me. If you need a snack from pizza to donuts or a little simple goofy present like a key ring or a camo hat you can get it here. You will most certainly find employees smiling and helpful to greet you.
