My best friend and I just popped off a cruise ship to head back home to NC. As I was peacefully napping, I was woken abruptly by a severe rattling noice on my side of the car. I was extremely scared for my life as my friends is an aggressive driver as it is... we were recommended to go to a local shop in Jacksonville! We walked in ten minutes before they closed and they still took care of us. The owner and the tire tech were both so kind - they fixed the rattling - thankfully it wasn't anything urgent or life threatening but we did need to get her brakes changed! These guys were so freaking funny though - we swapped stories and E learned a little bit more about what is underneath her car! I have to say that next time I'm driving through Jacksonville or if I ever move to the sunshine state, that will be exactly where I go for all my car services! One August 14th 2024 I drove my car to Tire outlet for a battery change. They told me they had to order the battery so I left it overnight. The next day I did not hear from them, so I decided to go to them in person around 4:30pm. When I arrived they told me when they tried to start my car after replacing the batteries the light on the dashboard were lighting up and they think I have a Faulty body control module. They told me there was nothing else they could do because the dealership had to reprogram my car. My car had no power at all. I couldn't even drive my car. A jump would not even power my car up. I then had to get it towed to my home. I waited almost two weeks before having my car towed to the dealership, because tire outlets corporate office said they would get my car fix at another one of their locations. They never did that, instead after going back and forth with them they said they couldn't fix it. I then had my vehicle towed on August 27th to the dealership. The dealership ran a diagnostic and found that the main power fuse array was blown when tire outlet was replacing my batteries. I had to pay $1605.73. Tire outlet lied and said I had a faulty body control module but they blew my fuse in my car. I want them to pay for the issue they caused on my car. read more

Store manager is so friendly and pleasant to work with. His personality really fills the room with a great feeling. The assistant manager is very cold. I was told it would take about 2 hours and he asked me if I was going to wait. I came prepared to wait and told him I would wait. 2 hours isn't an outrageous time to wait. On Saturday, October 12, I went to Tire Outlet on Merrill Road in Jacksonville Florida for the very first time. My light came on and I knew one or more of my tires were Leaking air. I spoke first with Randy, he was so nice, addressed the issue right away and askEd me to go over and have them check the air. The gentleman checking the air and I can't remember his name, a young dark boy who had been there three years, was also nice, friendly and professional. Bottom line, one tire could not be repaired. So I stated I would buy two of the same brand that I had on car. The price for the two was out of my range but Randy had already been proactive and had two quotes for a set of four tires that would work. I was so impressed with the efficiency, knowledge and customer service. I will go back and recommend them to others. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE They pretty damn unprofessional, and yes the damn was necessary. I went in with my spare on, needing to have my front passenger tire replaced. I specifically came to this location because my tire size was "in-stock" here. Well come to find out, this location is tied to their WAREHOUSE (wtf)? so it's gonna show in stock no matter what. He tells me he has to order it and that it's $111.20. Well online it's $20 cheaper and he said it's because "you're ordering it online", that doesn't make since but Ok so I order it online (90.98) and THREE HOURS LATER they update my service order to tomorrow's date and said "oh well that's when it was scheduled, sorry" They're shitty business people and have NO customer service. read more

Well, My experience started off good until I got my bill. The tech says there is a problem with my intake and rear breaks that was not done by another POS repair store. So the Front desk lady was nice and professional. It took all day till closing for them to finish my repairs and the bill was $1425.00 I was supposed to get a 50.00 discount but never received it. Needed some tires for the car and decided to go to this location after reading some reviews online. I've been to another Tire Outlet location and was pleased with the service so decided to give this one a try because it was closer. I had made an appointment online a couple days before so I wouldn't have to wait as long if they were busy. They got me in pretty quick after I got there. This trip I needed 4 tires, an alignment and oil change. Overall it was about an hour and a half which is not bad. I've waited 2 hours at other places just to have a tire patched. i had a vibration when I hit the brakes which I had put on in May. I went to the dealership on Cassat and was told I needed all 4 brakes which would cause me over $800.00, knowing that was wrong. I went to Tire Outlet to have them check out my brakes. They put my car on the lift, check it out and test drove it, and informed me that the brakes were fine and the vibration was just coming from the engine. When I walked in the store the customer service great and all were very professional. It's hard to find an honest and not trying to take your money for things that are not needing to be done, but I found it at Tire Outlet on Dunn Ave. I was told nothing was wrong and nothing owed. EXCELLENT and friendly customer service from the time I walked in until the time I left. . . The brake squealing sound that the dealership said was normal, was actually my brakes almost being metal to metal. So glad I came here for my tires replacement, otherwise I would've never known the truth about my brakes.... Best part, there was a $25 off coupon on the table for brakes and he let me use it. . . I also liked the fact that he didn't try to sell me the most expensive tires they have and trying to get over on me since I'm a female..... Lastly, It was 10 mins to close and they still accepted a walk-in customer. They have repaired a tire once for no charge and I didn't even lead them on with something else. This time they couldn't do anything but work me up a number for some new tires. I can honestly say extremely disappointed. I praised this group not long ago and can say in all fairness that it was a bit too early. It's sad that people will lie to your face and look you straight in the eyes while doing it. I called on a Friday when Jacob was on his Baja trip and asked if they could check my transmission fluid and put two used tires on the front along with an oil change. Steven said he would be back on Saturday and could do an oil change for $18. No worries, I'll come in Saturday. Sitting in the front talking to Jacob about his trip and asked him while he was putting used tires on the front (which I was never given a price for til after the fact), I asked him about checking my trans fluid. He says I need to use my dipstick. Wait, what? My car doesn't have one and that fact was also stated by Steven ( his employee) who was standing there. Later Jacob tries to tell me that I never asked him to check that. Uuuh, yeah I did and no you didn't. I specifically came I'm there for that otherwise I could've had what I needed done before he got there. He tried to refer me somewhere else and my response was, "Why would I take it to someone I don't know or trust when I'm here?" Should have went somewhere else. Had 4 tires installed. Searched all over Jacksonville for a value. This place offered a very fair price and solid service. I saved $60 by buying there. Only challenge was that Google only showed 2 stores when they actually have 7 in Jacksonville. I bought the Milestar tire. I have a lifetime rotation and after leaving from getting it done I felt some wobbling in my tire. I assumed the tread will just wear even and it'll go away but come to find out as I stick my head out of my window at 73 mph, my tire is waving back and forth. After pulling over and observing my front driver side tire, I checked my lugnuts to find out that all but 1 were hand screwed on. Never going there again. Absolutely ridiculous.
