Someone left a one star review because they were told to remove their dog out of the shopping cart. Heres a thought you dont have to take your dog to every single place you go. However, I had to wait for my two year warranty to end with Samsung. The floor manager himself broke the company policy to return my item when i told him the horrors of what Samsung was putting me through. In my 15 years of being a member here i have never once been mistreated or rudely talked to. Anytime I ask for anything everybody is above and beyond, smiling and so willing to help. This is legitimately one of the only institutions in Humboldt county where you don't hate to go to, because the people aren't awful and hate their lives. Its worth every bit of membership cost to come here in this food desert.

Everyone at the 76 station across the street seems nice and to value our business As far as this Shell goes, the staff wont even turn on the air if you purchase something in the store. The last straw was when my business partner bought gas and needed air for tires, the grumpy lady behind the counter told him he didnt buy enough gas to allow her to turn on the air. Not only is it a state law to provide free air to paying customers, its just terrible to be so rude with something thats free and all around us... AIR! I also hope these people are aware that not turning on the air for paying customers shows they are more interested in saying no and not being helpful than providing customer and motorists services to their community. The rinse cycle never came on and I had to drive out of the wash area with the truck still covered with soap. Went back in the store. Clerk said, I have to talk to my supervisor. No, he wouldn't give me my money back to redo. I bought another $9:00 ticket. This time I made it through the soap and rinse cycle, but the green light to move forward to the dryer never came on, so we left the wash still soaking wet. Sheesh. Never going back here again, for anything. Save your money for a place that works. Management doesn't care if you get your money's worth or not.

When we asked the attendant if we could use his, he stated, "you have to pump gas or buy something". We proceeded to buy something since we obviously did not need gas. This Texaco sits on the northwest corner of 4th (the 101) at the 255 turn off (like your going out…read moreto Samoa and Manilla) so south bound traffic makes this an easy stop. I try to stop here when I'm filling up as the fuel cost is consistently 10-15 cents a gallon less than the areas numerous Chevrons and its the very same fuel. There's a small convenience store here too, the usual snacks, beverages and emergency auto sundries are available inside the little store. Multiple pumps on two islands so I rarely if ever have had to wait for an open pump. *Note the overhead covering was recently ripped off in a wind storm Because of its location, this gas station tends to have an over abundance of transients hanging out, most times more than others but its seems there's always a couple milling around.
