The gas station was very clean, they provided free plastic mittens so that you don't have to touch the pumps, visa and master card credit cards are accepted. It also had diesel and air and water for your car. There was also a porta potty and a regular bathroom and a soda selling machine. I saw many cars come to this gas station so it is definitely a well-known gas station for the local people to get gas at their prices.

I told him to plz pump midgrade, and he proceeded to put in regular both times- The first time, he made the argument that midgrade only is regular and plus mixed- hence, he saw no need to heed my instructions that midgrade is what is good for my Toyota Forerunners engine. The second time he did this and chose not to listen to my fuel grade specification, we got into it, and the cops were called to dispute whether or not he took money from me over his stupid mistake. The cop went to the station and spoke with him, and it was clarified that due to his mistake of again not heeding my fuel grade specification- and switching over to plus partway through the transaction- the meter read 16.64 and did not reflect the 20 Dollar bill I had given him. Because I got upset over the situation, I am now apparently forbidden by him to return to that particular business. I will not rest until the manager knows about his rude and disrespectful behavior toward me, which he seems to only direct specifically at me, although this is hard to say for certain. I'm an Arcata local and have children, and I will personally make sure the manager - Roger or Earl or whoever manages that place knows what an asshole he is to certain customers. I see now in a few of the other reviews that it is actually common for them to treat paying customers like garbage.
