The new owners have moved their repair shop to Carroll Fuel. Luke and his mechanics no longer work there. I understand that Luke is not planning on opening another business--apparently he has retired. The new owner demolished the old station across the street and is building a store and gas pumps, but will keep the Carroll Fuel for gas pumps, repair shop and U Haul rental. I have not used the new repair shop yet, and have no positive or negative recommendation. The new manager seemed very nice when I talked to him about the sale and their new plans. Luke, if you happen to read this, I am so sorry you are no longer working! We were so happy to have you work on our cars for decades, you were always the pinnacle of professionalism, helpfulness and generosity. I wish I knew how to contact you, as I would like to give you a retirement gift as a token of my gratitude.
