On June 9 her attitude changed drastically in a negative way. Originally I came in to purchased a packaged hot sausage, but decided to change my mind and buy a bag of Doritos instead. I put the sausage back in its correct spot. When ready to check out the older woman possibly the manger/owner questioned me where is the packaged hot sausage that I had. I explained to her that I put the packaged hot sausage back in its spot. The older woman at the register begin yelling another employee name multiple times while I was typing in my 7 eleven rewards number to purchased the Doritos. She was asking the employee to check the cameras as if I stole the packaged sausage. The older woman at the register ask me again where is the package sausage I had respond after pulling out my money "Since you believe I'm stealing I will never purchased again from this store again" When I tried to re enter the store to speak with the other employee to request store information to file a customer complaint / receipt the older woman at the register walked over to the entrance and locked the door on me. This establishment has loss me as a customer.

After a 6am run to the airport, (Oct 2025), I was in the mood for fried chicken, of all things. On the way home, I searched for who's open, and this Royal Farm said they opened at 5am! I've had some RoFo chicken disappointments before, but a tip of the hat to Daym, who has mentioned this technique: For the freshest fast-food, go to a place as soon as possible after opening time! I got there around 6:30am, and surprise, they actually had chicken freshly made at that hour! I got just one fried chicken thigh. It was hot and crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy and flavorful, right up there with the well-known drive-through places. Now I know why folks love their RoFo chicken. Come when they've made a fresh batch! For me, it's now on my "breakfast" list :-)

Royal Farm has…read moresurcharge free ATMs and my bank doesn't charge any fees if I use them so I decided to come to this location. While I was there I picked up and coffee as well. Since I am a RoFo rewards member my coffee was only 1.99 would have been 2.49 at regular price. They have one of those machines that brews the coffee fresh each time. Nice to know it hasn't been sitting all day. Store wasn't busy this morning. They didn't have any cashiers but they have two self service registers. Prices are what you would expect for any convenience store. I have been here on other occasions to grab a beverage or snack. Overall not a bad place so I will return.

Just note, this is a legit country store, offering random canned items, dried goods, toys, collectibles, drinks, snacks, and even hot food. We saw a patron come in, looking for charcoal, and there was a bag hiding behind the front door! We stopped by, as we had heard about Mr. Jay's famous burgers - we ordered one to share, open to any toppings he recommended - ours came with fresh Romaine lettuce, sliced onions, a hot pepper spread, sliced fresh jalapenos, cheese, and mayo, all nestled in a locally baked bread. This was a simple, but a tasty burger! The freshly-ground beef is picked up every morning, from the slaughterhouse that is across the street; I don't really want to think about that all too much, but just know that what you're getting is some fresh proteins! Mr. Jay also grows his own peppers and such, so you'll taste the freshness! There are a few comfortable chairs around the store, so you can definitely just sit and enjoy your food, or take it to go - we opted to dine-in, and we almost fell asleep since we were that cozy and relaxed! HA! Mr. Jay is also known as the Mayor of Oella, so be sure to sit and listen to his stories - he's so kind, personable, and has a lot of history to share! I saw a published photo book of his, which I found super cool; we also received the town's community calendar and a sampling of a neighbor's homemade brownie!
