The hotel felt newer, clean, had a comfortable bed and amenities, nice gym, and good free breakfast. A couple minor inconveniences: while very much a first world problem, several times during the stay the coffee station was empty and a lot of people seemed annoyed to have to wait. People had to ask the lady working the breakfast area to restock some items, but she did so quickly and it wasn't really an issue. I would stay here again if passing through.

Do not stay here…read more Our time at SureStay, Wells was absolutely atrocious. We arrived and the gentleman (Robert/Rob) was a bit odd. He takes our name to look at the reservation and the card denies, so we try again. When that card does not work we hand over a different card which should have absolutely worked, which also ended up being declined. When we asked what information he inputted for the card he could not figure out how to tell us. When we asked him to re-input the information he did not. During this time he was putting his glasses on and off, rocking back and forth close to and further away from the computer screen, and was trying to be funny. We were frustrated and he was seemingly offended that we were not laughing at his immature and unprofessional jokes. When we eventually just asked if we could pay in cash he said we could, but it would "ruin his life" , then looked at us again as if we should laugh with him. At this point there are people behind us waiting to sign in, and he is unable to give us prompt and accurate services. We get our cash out and ask how much it is, and he says "172" and I, knowing it should not be that much repeat it back as a question, he says "it's 172, that's how much it is" I ask how it is that expensive, and he says, "I'm not supposed to tell you, but originally it was 82 and then tax" and I say, "so tax is doubling the price of the room?" And I pull up the email confirmation where the cost is 100.72 , when I show him he says, "yeah 172!" And then laughed. Frustrated we give him the cash and 100 dollar down payment. We asked what their system is for the down payments in cash, how they keep track of that, and he was unable to respond well. After all of that we enter our room to a horrendous smell that seeped into our clothing and a visibly dirty bathroom and shower. We felt unsafe and uncomfortable in the dirty room and had a horrible night. Checking out went better, Joe, the person working was kind and apologized for our experience and that was the only good thing about this entire experience.

A room for a single person was only ~$45, so it's by the cheapest option in town by $15-20 or so. Important: 1) Cash only. No cards. 2) Office closes 9-10pm, give or take. They wouldn't stay up until 11:30pm so that I could check in on my first night in town, so I had to stay elsewhere that night.
