Gayle and I were returning home for Dinner last night and we needed to buy some gasoline. I like to play the "E" more than she does, and I figure I could have gone another 20 miles on what was left in her Hyundai's tank. However, it wasn't worth her anxiety to push that opinion any further. The Bonus was the 45 cents/gallon discount earned from all that Holiday shopping at Lucky. That reduction down to $3.12/gallon looked pretty good as the dollars on the pump sped upwards. Speaking of bonuses, here's a few associated puzzlers: - At current gasoline prices, what's with the 9/10s at the end? - Taxes are a large part of the per gallon gasoline price. Where does that money go? - Why do some nozzles have catches on the handle (for auto filling) and some don't? - Why is it when you need gasoline, the nearest service station is "always" on the other side of the road? There could have been a Seinfeld episode about one or more of these burning questions.... read more

Shell has remodeled and opened as a Circle K/Shell gas station. 2 lanes of pumps are hidden behind the convenience store. circle k sells prep sammies, sodas, cigs, snacks... buys: regular gas(3.39) cheap for now. notes: -diesel is sold but bigger rigs will have trouble fueling up here. read more

This station wasn't here when I bought my condo across the street just over a year ago. I watched them construct it and thankfully it is on the Northeast corner of the intersection so construction never got in the way of my daily commute. It didn't take long to tell it was going to be a Shell - must've been a gas station of some type before as well. So what I don't understand, is what is the point of putting in or even renovating a gas station without having some sort of selection of snacks inside? This is just another Shell that has an attendant in a kiosk. Maybe they were afraid of competition from the diagonal corner which hosts a Chevron and Cork & Bottle Liquor. Both of those businesses have snacks, drinks (including 2 L and 12-pack sizes) and even Lottery Scratchers. Shell has 20oz sodas. Boring. I've bought gas here a couple of times now. Both times it seemed oddly empty. I never have to wait for a pump. That's a plus. read more

I went to get $20 worth of gas today at about 3 pm (11-1-20). I gave the older man (don't know his name) $50. Without thinking I went out without my $30 change. I got my gas & left. Only later did I discover the man did NOT give me my change back from the $50. So I later returned to the gas station (at about 7 pm today) & the older man was there. I told hime I gave him $50 & that he did NOT give me my change back of $30. He said I gave him $20, which was BULLSHIT because I distinctly remember I put a $50 in pocket & was going to buy groceries with the $30 change. I told him I would go home to see if what he said was true (me giving him $20), if not I would be back. I went home & checked. I had 2 $50s before I bought the gas. After I bought the gas I only have 1 $50 bill. I did end up giving the man a $50. I went back the the gas station & told the man I did in fact give him $50 & he owed me $30. He lied & said I gave him $20. The man is a LIAR & THIEF!! read more

Jessica was the rudest employee. I first called to ask if they had an item in stock. She was very rude and wouldn't even answer if they had the items. Told me I'd have to come in. When I got to the location she was 10 times ruder. She was racist towards us because we are Arabic. I don't know how an employee can have a job with this kind of service. I guess that's why she works at a gas station at 45 years old. read more

I have lived right around the corner from this gas station for the past 3 plus years yet ever since this older Indian dude who farts all night inside the station started working nights it has been a very unpleasant experience if even an experience at all more than half of the time you pull up and wait for 10-15 min thinking the attendant must be in restroom or something but nope it's like he's asleep in the back or something and the times he is there he has been beyond rude yelling at customers and everything. Not to mention almost vomiting from the smell of his farts every time. Well tonight was the worst experience ever I went in got a few things and didn't have quite enough cash so I attempted to pay part cash and the remaining with card he yelled at me rudely and screamed in my face "NO CASH AND CARD ONLY CASH." Anyone else and everywhere else has no problem doing that I believe it's part of the job requirements to know how to do both I am going to be complaining to the manager as well as never going back other than that. First off with customer service the customer is always right and I am more than polite so he either doesn't know how to do his job or is lazy and rude I have had everyone else I know that goes to that station say the same thing about dude so he needs to be replaced if you don't want to keep loosing business. read more

For gas this Shell Station has reasonably the same prices as the Chevron across the street and probably any other shell station in the city. What is lacking at this Shell is they don't have a good selection of drinks and snacks. They built this Shell about a year ago and there is only a little room the size of a closet that they have one worker in there and a very small selection of snacks. They have sodas outside and some chips but that is really all they got. So if you are looking for something a little more then just gas maybe you should look across the street. read more

This place is nice service and in a good location. You can only go in and out of it on to treat turning right and right on to oak Grove. Getting in and out can be difficult remember that in rush or school drop off hours. This place has your standards to get you going like small microwave things, quick ham sammies and full coffee mocha bar area. Hotdogs are ready to go and you can even get ice bags which is very good. Service here is great they're very nice. There is a bathroom. This is a new building built not too long ago it's clean. read more

It's a gas station. It's on the way to the freeway from my house, which is probably the only reason I stop here for gas ever. I think it's a little bit less expensive than the Shell on the corner of N. Main and Treat, but I can't remember :) read more

This gas station has always comes in handy! Seems like it's always there on my way out of town, always convenient! It really sucked when it was closed and had to go elsewhere! I like the fact that they always(or so it always seems) add need windshield cleaning solutions to their cleaning stations, instead of dirty water! Always puts a smile on my face!! read more

After spending 50 dollars on gas I go inside to get a drink and cliff bar coming out to 4.97 I pay with my debit card rings me up hands me my receipt. I look at and notice a 50 cent charge for using debit . I ask him why I got charged this and he responds you spent under 5 dollars. Really 4.97 and your going to charge me 50 cents over 3 cents. He keeps pointing out a sign that he had on the counter that was mostly covered from a bowl they had on the counter. I demanded my money back he said he can't but after pushing he gave it back. Now do I care that much about 50 cents nope not at all its just rude thing to do cause most people won't notice. Now I will never use there gas station again read more
