I was really impressed with the Mac and Cheese. Not many places do the side well, often it's goopy school cafeteria fare but their Mac and Cheese was rich and creamy. Free slurpee? yes, please…read more Being from Virginia Beach (where there's a 7-11 on every corner), I am no stranger to 7-11s and while they're all fairly similar, there are a few things that can make the experience better or worse. (Is it clean? Are they friendly? Are they attentive?) This location happens to be the closest to my residence in Cville, so it's the one I most often visit, if I need a cheap coffee on the way out of town or crave a slurpee on a hot day. The service at the counter is always friendly and capable and the place usually seems clean! So they win. We have the 7-11 app (get it if you want free things every so often!!) and they are never weird about us scanning our app to use our rewards, and if something is playing up with it they are patient in figuring out what they need to do to make it work.
