Zip trash, cans were within their boundaries. The wash wash was blue, that's mean clean! The squeegee's were in great condition. Pump station worked flawless thanking my credit card. We were staying at the Holiday Inn that is directly behind the Wawa in Pantops/Charlottesville, VA. Being tired after a long driving day, we decided to just grab a hoagie from Wawa's for dinner. This review addresses only the food options. I went online, and was able to easily order a 10" cheesesteak for us to split. They made it exceptionally easy to customize our sub, with choices for type of roll (whole wheat), type of cheese, vegetables (lettuce, tomato, spinach, pickles, etc.), type of sauce, etc. I paid the ~$9 (including tax) online. By the time my husband walked over from the hotel, our hoagie was already ready for pickup. He also picked up some chips, peanuts, and a beer to round out our dinner. Pros. Easy to order online. Easy pickup. Friendly staff. Well-stocked and clean convenience store. Good location. Tasty hoagie and fresh snacks. Reasonable prices. A few minor cons. The website offered Lays potato chips as an add-on, but these weren't available at this location. And, while this location had a good selection of beers, they had few options for dark beers. read more

Big fan of WaWa. When I was working in Charlottesville I used to drive by and check the sign when I needed gas. Usually could drive my car for about a week before re-fueling. WaWa has the lowest prices on Pantops Mountain right off of 250. Plus, you can dash in and get some better food options than most quick stop shops. Wawa is an iconic gas station that started in the northeastern United States (Pennsylvania, to be exact) and has continuously expanded, at least here on the east coast. This is good news, as I am a huge fan of Wawa. I am a fan of Wawa not only for them being a gas station, but for their meal offerings, as well. Wawa is primarily known for their hoagies. If you are unfamiliar with the term hoagie, I grew up calling them subs, but whatever you choose to call this iconic sandwich, Wawa offers a decent sandwich (especially when you consider that it is coming from a gas station). If you need to fill your car and maybe your stomach, Wawa is a great choice to head towards. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Wawa and I will give this particular location of Wawa five stars. read more

They also tobacco products, lottery machines, snacks, toiletries and many other staple convenience items. Their prices are fairly decent and if you like subs, I recommend the Italian. It was amazing. my favorite place on earth. heaven. However, while this isn't their fault, I just wanted to share an experience I had there. My friend spilled her 24 ounce hot coffee all over herself, me, her car, and the floor. I've never seen a bigger flood in my life. don't worry we cleaned it up and are doing better now but just know that that happened and the Wawa people were kind enough to give us free coffee- so five stars. read more

As someone from the northeast and lived in the Philadelphia metro area for 6 years, I missed being able to easily access a Wawa. While I'm excited to finally have two in town, I've been let down the last 5 times I've visited. Each time, they were really slow and it took more than 20 minutes for my food to come. It didn't seem like they were short of staff, just not as efficient. Secondly, they were often out of the staples, like meatball subs or cheesesteaks. I wonder if it's an inventory issue that they need to improve over the next few months. Until then, going to give them a 3 star review. read more

I can't tell you how many times I've been to the WaWa at Pan Tops during the early morning before work and stood at the register Staring around waiting for someone to ring me up . Like this morning out of frustration I just put the stuff back and leave . A lot of times as I'm entering the store I get met by someone asking me to give them money for gas. I fell for that A couple of times. I would pay for them to get gas then they continue standing there asking others for money. O and I should mention that the Hand sanitizer dispensers are all empty at the gas pumps and have been empty for weeks.
