They put a tiny bar-code inside your windshield to show your membership. I've been through the wash 3-4 times / week some weeks and once a week on others. I've never heard a negative word nor gotten any grief for going to often as others indicate. In fact, when I had my dog with me on one occasion the attendant brought a dog biscuit over with the vacuum token! The new equipment does a thorough job of cleaning and I believe this is a bargain seeing as I'm averaging $2 to $3 / wash. Unlimited is a great idea and I've been treated well.

This company recently took over these locations from Black Dog Car Wash. They do not maintain their equipment like Black Dog did. Recently, I went to wash my car at the 108 location and was ripped off for $10.00 because there was no change for a twenty dollar bill that I inserted for a $10.00 car wash. I spotted this one and wanted to use the self serve bays but I didn't have change for a 20 and either they don't have change makers or they were broken I can't remember so I went around to the touchfree bays and pulled up to the first bay. I paid the $20 for the hot wax wash and waited....nothing happened when it told me to go in, the doors stayed shut. I had purchased new ceramic wax so I wanted to run it out and said "screw it I'll call them later and just go to the next bay'. Put the card in and selected the hot wax wash again, this time the doors opened and I went in. It went through the first and second cycle perfectly then when the next round was supposed to come out, nothing came out. Again with almost all the rest of the wash cycles. I spent $40 in a 20 minute ish timespan and my car was doused with water and maybe soap. Not sure. If that wasn't bad enough, when I got my statement, I was charged twice for the one water super soak "wash' and then my $20 cash I put into the first machine that It never spit back out. I believe the machines say they don't give cash back so I was already agreeing to lose $3 but not all $20. I called once, twice, three times and each time either no one got back to me, it just rang and rang or it rang, stopped ringing but was silent on the other end. The car wash has potential but it's not reaching for the stars. sooner rather than later would be kinda cool so I could try it again. Like I said car wash is my favorite pastime.

All of my purchasing experiences were good. Honda's sell themselves so there's no need for high pressure sales. Unfortunately, I've had only bad experiences with the 2 Maine Honda dealerships in Portland and Saco. We've also serviced our vehicles at Dover Honda. Even though they're a dealership, they are competent and competitive in pricing. We purchased replacement tires on a vehicle, and they met the price from a discount tire dealer. We find the dealership to be honest and no pressure. It's a relaxed buying atmosphere not found in other dealerships. My salesman was Al Lepler. He is knowledgeable and laid back. He answers all you questions and does not pressure you into buying. You come to a dealership to first look around, maybe take a test drive and finally buy. If you are up front with Al, he is upfront with you. Recommend Dover Honda.
