I was driving home from a mini road trip late one night this past summer and decided to find a car…read morewash, my favorite pass time. I spotted this one and wanted to use the self serve bays but I didn't have change for a 20 and either they don't have change makers or they were broken I can't remember so I went around to the touchfree bays and pulled up to the first bay. I paid the $20 for the hot wax wash and waited....nothing happened when it told me to go in, the doors stayed shut. I had purchased new ceramic wax so I wanted to run it out and said "screw it I'll call them later and just go to the next bay'. Put the card in and selected the hot wax wash again, this time the doors opened and I went in. It went through the first and second cycle perfectly then when the next round was supposed to come out, nothing came out. Again with almost all the rest of the wash cycles. I spent $40 in a 20 minute ish timespan and my car was doused with water and maybe soap. Not sure. If that wasn't bad enough, when I got my statement, I was charged twice for the one water super soak "wash' and then my $20 cash I put into the first machine that It never spit back out. I believe the machines say they don't give cash back so I was already agreeing to lose $3 but not all $20. I called once, twice, three times and each time either no one got back to me, it just rang and rang or it rang, stopped ringing but was silent on the other end. The car wash has potential but it's not reaching for the stars. sooner rather than later would be kinda cool so I could try it again. Like I said car wash is my favorite pastime.

Service department (claimed to) have performed an unasked-for "multi-point inspection" while my…read moreRidgeline was in for a battery replacement, and, I was informed, my rear brakes and rotors were in dire need of immediate replacement at a cost of $778.31. Instead of authorizing that repair I returned to Kittery AutoWorks, the shop that had performed exactly that service 6,000 miles ago (for $200 less) and asked them to inspect the brake system to see whether there was some mechanical flaw that could cause the pads to wear out so quickly. The result? As I suspected, pads and rotors are in perfect condition, "barely worn, nothing needs work". This makes the second, and final bad experience with this dealer's service department, and I will certainly never go there again for either service, nor for the purchase of a new car: if incompetents and crooks are tolerated in the mechanics' bays and behind the service desk, there are likely similar types to be found on the showroom floor.
