Since driving a Tesla, I've only been here to use their restroom and to buy a drink while I wait for the car to finish charging. The men's restroom has been getting worse and worse each time that I've been here. One of the urinals is almost always broken or they're out of hand soap. They purposely don't have any prices on the snacks/drinks because they are counting on the fact that you're probably not thinking and you line up to the counter and just pay since you are already in line. I am writing to report a very disappointing and unacceptable experience I had at your store on Sunday, 9/28, at around 6:30 AM. I came in with my two children to get coffee and snacks while our car was charging. While I was getting a drink for my child, the attendant at the register suddenly said, "Omg, that is not working." He then proceeded to make rude comments toward me, saying things like "Don't you use your eyes to look?" and criticized me for not realizing the machine was out of order- despite there being no sign posted to inform customers. When I suggested he place a sign so people would know, he was unable to explain himself clearly. He does not speak good English. I told him that his behavior was rude, and as I was walking out of the store with my children, he cursed at me. This was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable-especially in front of my kids. As a paying customer, I do not believe this is the kind of service I (or anyone) should receive. This type of behavior reflects poorly on your store and brand. I hope you will address this incident appropriately so that no other customer has to go through the same experience. I am a mother of 2 young kids, 8 y/o and a 3 y/o. Pulled in here to get gas this morning and I was a little concerned when I went to check in on Yelp and saw the low rating... I did a quick search as to whether or not I should head to one of the other few gas stations available in the area and this Shell station had the best prices. Yes, I just spent $105 on gas, but still relatively in the area. It had the best prices. There are tons of EV chargers in the lot and I see that a lot of the negative reviews are from people who stopped here to charge their vehicles and are angry about overpriced items and convenience stores. If you understand that you're in the middle of the desert and you're going to pay a premium for things, this is an okay place to stop and a Dairy Queen inside, they also have reasonably clean bathrooms. The gas prices when I stopped were 10 to 50 cents cheaper than everywhere else in the area and for such a small shop, I thought they had a good selection of convenience priced items. If I had to stop in this area again, I would stop here. read more

While they did have someone actively cleaning the restrooms (which is appreciated), that does not make up for the incredibly marked up their gas and convenience items. However, an open spot may be impossible to find. There are way too many people standing in line just to use the public restroom. No staff member greeting you as you enter the establishment. On 7/25/22 between 2:30pm-2:45pm my mom fell at your location. She sat down on one of your chairs and the chair fell apart into 3 parts. There were screws on the floor. I went inside the food mart to ask for help and no one wanted to help. It was the worst service. They were trying to blame her when it was your negligence for not inspecting the seating area. No one wanted to make a report or even check if she was okay. I had to call the ambulance to make sure she was okay since she is diabetic. There was also no manager on-site and they did not want to provide me the number to the manager. When they finally did there was no answer. It was the worst/scariest experience.
