Very friendly staff and always treats you like family and not a customer.

    Trader Joe's

After absolutely demolishing tapas at Eclipse Di Luna, we did what any responsible adults would…read moredo... we waddled to Trader Joe's at the other end of the parking lot to "walk it off." Nothing says digestive strategy like grocery shopping while overly full. First of all, this location? Chef's kiss. The store was spotless, beautifully stocked, and organized in that magical Trader Joe's way where you somehow find everything you need while also discovering six things you didn't. It felt like walking into a tiny, efficient wonderland of snacks and frozen food optimism. Now here's my grievance. I live in Buford. North of the perimeter. Apparently that is too far for the Trader Joe's gods to bless us with a location. I grew up in the Bay Area, where you could trip over a sourdough boule and land inside a TJ's. I was accustomed to having one within walking distance. Now? I must cross suburban boundaries like a pioneer woman seeking frozen orange chicken. But this Alpharetta location healed something in me. They had all my old staples. Movie theater popcorn. The frozen beef and broccoli that has carried me through multiple phases of life. And most importantly, the Italian meatballs. If you know, you know. I grabbed them like someone might take the last lifeboat on the Titanic. The layout was easy to navigate, both inside and out. Parking was simple. The aisles were wide enough for me to maneuver while still digesting half my body weight in tapas. The staff was friendly without the fake cheerfulness. Just solid, helpful, normal humans who know their snack inventory. I will absolutely be back. Not because it's convenient. But because apparently Trader Joe's has chosen to forsake the people of Buford and I must make pilgrimages to Alpharetta for my frozen section needs.

I have gone on both a Saturday and a weekday and found that the service is consistent in heavy crowds and quiet days. I was able to find my favorite TJ items and will make this my new location. One note about parking, it is sometimes challenging. The store isn't causing the issue. Instead it's at a weird corner with 2 entrances and people still aren't sure which way to go sometimes. So just look out and be careful.

The Indian dude behind the counter did not want to "take" my $30 in singles because he said he already had enough ones. So he declined me from getting gas. $30 dollars. I'm not even mad. I'm upset but the way my faith setup. God sees, and he'll get what's coming to him. He just wanted a reason to discriminate against me. But little did he know, I have credit cards, debit cards, cash, Apple Pay and whatever else I need. Judging me by the way I look and I still have to give you my business?? Smh. I'll let God handle it. But I can't believe I would have been denied gas for 30 dollars in singles. All because the Indian guy (It's mostly them out here) at the BP in Alpharetta was discriminating. Bad business. No one should deal with that.

The gas here was pricey, but that's the case with most BPs. On the bright side, that meant the…read morefilling area wasn't busy at all, so that was nice. This BP is located at the corner of Haynes Bridge Rd and Westside Pkwy in Alpharetta, not far from Georgia 400 exit 9 (Haynes Bridge Rd). The filling station has 16 pumps. During my visit, they were grimey, but in good working order. This station offers all three grades of unleaded fuel plus diesel. I used pump 3. The displays were old, but legible, and my receipt printed out clearly. There's a taqueria attached to the convenience store called Taqueria Cuernavaca. No car wash or anything like that. There are medians on both Haynes Bridge Rd and Westside Pkwy that make it impossible to make left turns out of the property. You'll have to drive out the back and go to Rainwater Dr if you want to make a left turn back onto the main roads. Overall, this place is fine. QuikTrip and RaceTrac are better, but they're also more congested.
