The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. I recently went to their February artisan food fairs, and bought some delicious food products. They had a variety of food vendors: hot sauces, honey, dips, cookies, teas, and more. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. There are so many fairs in the city, but the vendors here are ones that I haven't seen anywhere else. So check out their insta or their website for dates to their upcoming fairs.

I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. Yummy in my tummy! Not sure if same vendors will be there again, so catch them the at your farmers market, festivals or next Eats event!

Brenda…read morewas our Month of Coordinator and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND.First of all, they did not oversell themselves...I told them what I had already accomplished before even calling them and they said, "you only need month of coordination. you've got this." However, a few months before the wedding I was so overwhelmed with all the detail that Brenda offered to meet and she just helped me organized my priorities and made me feel really good about the progress I had made. She did the same 6 weeks later. OMG, so helpful to keep me going and manage the overwhelm. As the date grew nearer, she started leading more to ensure we took care of those horrible details (seating charts, signage, communication with vendors, table set ups, and the timeline, etc). At every moment she was calm, lovely, relatable, fun, reassuring, and extremely competent. The week before the wedding she came over and took ownership of all the "stuff" (candles, ceremony items, decorations, etc). That felt sooo good. She was great at the rehearsal and made sure "all the cats were herded"so we got through the rehearsal and worked out all the details. The day of the wedding? We were so relaxed and didn't think about a single thing. The tables were set exactly as we had discussed, the ambiance was amazing, every little detail she had taken care of. and then she cleaned up and stored everything for us and then brought it back to us a couple of days later. During the wedding, Brenda was a total ninja....I barely saw her at the wedding as she was in the background making it all happen so we could enjoy our guests. A guest even took a picture of her that makes her look like the super hero she is, LOL! You will LOVE working with Brenda. I cannot recommend her more vigorously. She is amazing.

From the first call, she put our anxious brains at ease and listened carefully to what weirdo vision we had in mind + what things we were most afraid of turning awry. Having never planned such a fete before, I had hella dumbass questions to lob at her, but that did not faze her at all. Not only is Cierra hypercompetent at her job and super solutions-oriented and knowledgeable, she is a plain joy to talk to and bounce ideas off of and joke around with. Just an all-round cool human that added to the overall atmosphere of love and appreciation we wanted to foster at our wedding (while also running an impeccably tight ship without breaking a sweat). ANYWAY needless to say we are major Cierra fans here and want you all to know that she is a dream collaborator for your big day, may you be so lucky!

A Lifesaver for Our Wedding -- Exceptional Service and Stunning Space!…read more If I could give Carlos and Marigold more than five stars, I would. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic. I reached out to Carlos at the last minute, and the level of service we received was nothing short of extraordinary. Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural. It was the perfect backdrop for our 10-person group--intimate, stylish, and full of character. Personal Touch: Carlos even provided his personal cell number for day-of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly. That level of care is rare. Carlos, thank you for your kindness and for helping us make our wedding ceremony so special. You lifted a huge weight off our shoulders, and we can't recommend Marigold enough!

As a full-time working bride, I really appreciated the whole experience of planning my wedding with an all-inclusive package where I get to pick and choose from a set menu. I love that everything was made easy for someone in exactly my situation where I could not put as much time and headache into such mundane details like renting my own chairs and silverware, so Wedgewood was perfect for us. Yes, it's cookie-cutter, but I was still very much able to add our own flavor to the event via wedding favors, welcome table decor, and hired entertainment. Both us and our guests had a great time and that's all I care about. On wedding day, Violet and the banquet captain really took care of us and she went beyond my expectations by showing up in the bridal suite with cocktail hour drinks and appetizers. Everything on the day of ran smoothly and I was definitely a stress-free, relaxed bride. WW Extravaganza - After booking, look forward to their Extravaganza events where you get to try out a lot of the cocktail hour appetizers and buffet choices! This really helped narrow down the options for our own wedding. At these events, you also get to meet their preferred vendors and get to know how their packages/offerings look like in person. Shout out to DJ Mike from iMobile. I heard nothing but good things about the bacon wrapped scallops and roast beef carving station from my guests. The venue itself has so much potential for however you want to use it. We used the chapel garden for our ceremony and it was a perfect day in early December. Ample amount of parking in the 2 lots on-site, though meters are active until 6pm every day. Our outside vendors coordinated flawlessly with the venue/Violet and all WW staff were professional and friendly. The views of the Golden Gate Bridge were amazing, but it was really the floor to ceiling windows in the reception room that really sold us. Yes, it's expensive, but I think it's worth it. Worth it for the location, ease of planning, and plenty of customization options.
