The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. I recently went to their February artisan food fairs, and bought some delicious food products. They had a variety of food vendors: hot sauces, honey, dips, cookies, teas, and more. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. There are so many fairs in the city, but the vendors here are ones that I haven't seen anywhere else. So check out their insta or their website for dates to their upcoming fairs.

I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. Yummy in my tummy! Not sure if same vendors will be there again, so catch them the at your farmers market, festivals or next Eats event!

We had several meetings to ensure I was on the right path and checking off all the to do's. And the day of coordinator was perfect. She knew exactly what to do, never bothered me asking for anything. She kept us on schedule, she did all of the day of set up, coordinated with all my vendors and handled the tips. I was also so pleasantly surprised and thrilled when I came back on Sunday that she and her assistant had put everything away, all decor and staked the tables and chairs and put away linens. Not enough ice arrived and the bar was lacking some items and her assistant went to the store to grab everything. I am SO glad to have hired Cierra because I was fully present during my wedding day and can't imagine how differently and stressful the day would have been without her help. Best money spent!

A Lifesaver for Our Wedding -- Exceptional Service and Stunning Space!…read more If I could give Carlos and Marigold more than five stars, I would. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic. I reached out to Carlos at the last minute, and the level of service we received was nothing short of extraordinary. Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural. It was the perfect backdrop for our 10-person group--intimate, stylish, and full of character. Personal Touch: Carlos even provided his personal cell number for day-of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly. That level of care is rare. Carlos, thank you for your kindness and for helping us make our wedding ceremony so special. You lifted a huge weight off our shoulders, and we can't recommend Marigold enough!

He made suggestions for layout which worked perfectly for our needs. I brought a laptop and mirrored a powerpoint for our presenter. The microphone did not cut out at all, the venue is on-point with technology, cleanliness, and a rockstar of a manager who made sure it was a success. I highly recommend Marigold and would not hesitate to book it again. Side note, there is a small hutch on the side as you walk up the stairs, we set up an Ofrenda. This venue is a gem.

We called to check their availability, and they directed us to fill out the contact form on their website. We submitted it, and they got back to us the next day to review the details. After that, they sent a proposal by email, which was simple to update, and once we approved everything, we made the payment. On the day of the event, the only hiccup was timing. We told them that setup was scheduled for 3:30pm and the party would start at 5pm. When we didn't see them for a while, we tried calling but didn't get a response. They didn't arrive until around 4:40-4:45pm, which was much later than we expected. They mentioned they thought 3:30pm was just the earliest they could arrive, but we actually needed them there at 3:30pm. Thankfully, once they arrived, the setup was quick, efficient, and they finished in no time. The balloon arrangements themselves were absolutely stunning. We received so many compliments, and they completely transformed the space. They understood the aesthetic we were going for and executed it perfectly. Despite the timing miscommunication, I would still use them again because their customer service was great throughout the planning process, everything was easy to coordinate, and their work was beautiful. With clearer communication on arrival times next time, it would easily be a 5-star experience.

The process was shaped by Robin's expertise, and with our input and collaboration, a few meetings and lots of emails, the details and our intentions came together. We really enjoyed our wedding day, fully, in good part because Robin prepared us well, and with her binder in hand, masterfully executed on the timeline that we had created and refined. D&A

And most importantly, Robin took charge the day of the wedding so we could relax and enjoy the party we had worked so hard to plan. Robin was fun and friendly to work with from our side, and was precise and exacting with logistics on the vendor side, which is exactly what you want in a coordinator. VENUE Pros: + Floor to ceiling windows in the Ventana Ballroom + Beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge + Second level with internal balcony for a nice view of the entire ballroom + stage + Additional halls on either side that can be used for whatever you want (we used one for cocktail hour and the other to serve buffet-style dinner) + Modern bridal suite that could be used to get away for a bit Cons: - The Prince Room, where grooms + groomsmen could get ready, doesn't have much privacy because of the large, outward facing windows - Wood dance floor is a bit roughed up and could use some refinishing - 10% Presidio Administration Vendor Fee for onsite external vendors (if you book their preferred/partnered vendors, this fee doesn't apply) Okay, now that we have that out of the way, let's go back to the overall Wedgewood Weddings package and team at the Golden Gate Club. Simply put, they're amazing at what they do. Jordan was our wedding coordinator and she listened to our initial vision, helped brainstorm with us, provided all the details we needed to help make food/decor/cake/decor choices, ebbed and flowed with us as we coordinated external vendors and some DIY decor, kept in close communication with us every step of the way, and when our wedding day finally arrived, she made sure that every small little detail was taken care of. She provided ample signage (e.g. bar, gifts, etc.), anticipated windy/rainy weather, had contingency plans in place, and communicated with the officiant, banquet captain, DJ, and others to make sure everything ran smoothly. We are so thankful for her because she lifted so much of the wedding planning stress off of our shoulders. Gigi and Kiley worked in tandem with Jordan throughout the night to coordinate logistics and food service. Jordan worked with Steve (our officiant with Officially Yours!!), DJ Big Kev (our DJ with iMobileDJs), and all our external vendors so effortlessly. Everyone was amazing and played a big part in making our wedding day so special and I would recommend working with any of these amazing human beings to anyone!
