My relationship with Sheldon's Flowers started in 1997. At that time I was working for a wholesale flower delivery company and delivered to Mr. Biondi on regular basis. It was Valentines Day 1998, a very busy day of deliveries, when I made my third or fourth trip to Sheldon's Flowers that day. It was late in the day and I unloaded the order and while Mr. Biondi made out a check we talked and he asked what flowers I had got my girl that year. I told him none as there wasnt quite enough money to get her any. Mr. Biondi gave me a smile and handed me a check and asked me to wait just a minute as he wanted to give me a delivery for the manager at the wholesaler I worked for. I waited about five or so minutes and Mr. Biondi came around the corner and handed me a very large beautiful with a mixed bouquet of confetti roses, carnations, Gerber daisys and a few others mixed with babies breath and fern. He handed me the bouquet and said give these to the girl you speak of and love so much. Ever since that day when I need flowers I call Sheldon's Flowers. Mr. Biondi's has now passed the torch to his son Geno who runs this family operated shop with the same care and attention to detail that his father did for so many years. Amazing service. Let me tell you about the service I received from Gino, the owner. I ordered flowers and a gift basket online from Florida for friends in Pittsburgh last night who lost a loved one. We spoke this morning and he was able to help me with the type of arrangement I chose oppose to what I really needed and altered for me (and made it even more beautiful), and then delivered them himself to an address that was further than he would normally deliver too in -5 degrees weather just a few hours later. Not even the schools are open due to the severe weather! He also followed up and called letting me know it was the delivered and their reaction to receiving the gifts. He deserves flowers too! The product and service was very affordable. My advice call him for your next order and he'll hook it up! From past experience, 800flowers could never do what Sheldon's flowers can do, he obviously loves what he does, you won't be disappointed. I was not! read more

Thank You Every Time! I have been away for 30 years but Mom is still there. I will always call Sheldon's. Hubby tried to order flowers from elsewhere once. They were awful. He knows this is our only place for Flowers and Plants from now on. She raves every time she gets flowers from us, the true artists are at Sheldons. This is the second year in a row Gene at Sheldon's flowers come through for me. Last spring and this year, even during coved-19 pandemic, Sheldons was able to deliver potted plants for me. After having talked with Gene and agreeing to having a bouquet delivered instead of the potted plants, I was surprised when two days later Gene called and informed me he was able to put together my original request. All I can say is WOW! I found out about a family members passing & had less than 24 hrs to send flowers. Being Saturday, all of the other florists closed at noon but Sheldon's were open until 3:00. I put in a last minute, same day delivery order on a Sunday through teleflora and was later informed that it would not get to the recipient that day. So I researched florists in the area and Sheldon's Flowers came up as the only florist open on a Sunday.
