I ordered flowers and chocolates for my gf to be delivered to our work location on Friday. My biggest gripe was that the items didn't arrive until 2:30 PM. Everyone else who had flower delivery that day from other vendors received their flowers in the morning. Unfortunately, she had already left for the day, but luckily, they arrived early enough so I could bring them home to her. It would have been a much better surprise if they would have arrived earlier in the day. This place doesn't allow you to pick delivery windows whereas others do. One would think a business location delivery would take precedence in the morning over home deliveries given the fact people may leave work early on certain days to prepare for an early evening out. The flowers themselves looked nice and the chocolates were good. I'll opt for another vendor should I need flowers again as a delivery time in the early/late afternoon left a sour taste in my mouth and I wasn't able to surprise my gf on this special day. read more

Ordered a peace lily for a funeral viewing... Did not have any budding blooms on it. Just looked like a green plant which seemed kind of out of place at a funeral viewing. Another in the room had 3-4 buds and was lovely. read more

Top notch flower arrangements and service. We had a last minute request for a Sunday funeral. They normally don't deliver on Sundays. They called me to tell me, I explained our circumstances and they made a special effort and delivered for our Sunday viewing. Their absolutely fabulous arrangement was the only one there. Ordering from out of town for someone local to Beaver, I wasn't sure what I would get. The choices on the website were varied and less expensive than what I would have gotten ordering locally. I got a confirmation number and an e-mail confirmation. The day of delivery, I got a phone call that said apologetically that they would have to substitute a different pot from the one in the web photo because the plant the supplier sent was too large! (They honored the original price.) The person I talked to even offered to send me a photo of the plant in its new pot. I would call them again in a heartbeat any time I had a flower or plant order. read more

A work colleague lost 2 family members to Covid this week and had another in the hospital. It was also Mother's Day weekend. Wanted to send her a plant/potted flowers rather than cut flowers. When I explained all this to the woman at the florist shop she asked for my friends address (I live in another state) and said she would drive by to see what type of outdoor plant would work. Then she dropped off two of the most beautiful hanging baskets I have ever seen. My friend was floored and sent me a pic exclaiming her thanks and appreciation for my thoughtfulness. I just had flowers delivered to me today...And Gary, from Synder's Flowers was AMAZING with his customer service. First, he called me on my cell phone to ask when I was arriving home so he could wait for me to hand the flowers to me...I was surprised with flowers from a photography client!....and while I was looking at the card, the mailman arrived and Gary then proceeded to go get my mail and bring it to me. THEN...as, he was heading back to his delivery truck, he'd noticed that my garbage cans had been emptied and brought them up for me to my garage! I mean....come ON! How much better of customer service could a business do for you? Thank you Gary! Plus, the flowers are amazingly beautiful, and I called the clients immediately who sent the to me to thank them....I will DEFINITELY be using Snyder's Flowers for all of my needs from now on! read more

I was looking for flowers to send my aunt for her retirement. Based on a family recommendation I took a look at the Snyder's website and decided to place an order on-line. The flowers I selected on the website were a lovely spring blend. Unfortunately what was received was rather disappointing. Mostly ferns and greenery with a couple of flowers stuck in. The arrangement, if you could call it that, was a mess. Not at all what I believed to be ordering. I've tried several times to call the shop but no one answers. I've sent an email as well and still no response. Very upsetting. Embarrassed to think my aunt received this poor excuse as a gesture I meant to celebrate this new phase in her life. Won't use them again and will be sure to tell all of my family in the area to avoid them as well. Lots of options...no excuse for such poor service. read more

I was out of state when my friend passed away, I ordered my arrangement over the phone. The man I spoke to was accomodating. He gave me an arrangement that was in my price range. My problem is I did not get what I ordered. A picture was sent to me via phone. I phoned and expressed my dissatisfaction.The owner was willing to take back the flowers I did not want, and make the arrangement I wanted. There would be an additional charge. I did not accept his offer. I feel he should have made the arrangement for the price I was quoted. After all I did tell him the price range I was looking for. I used this florist because it was the familys choice. I will find another florist in the future, and when I get home the family will hear this story. read more

This was the florist my whole family used for years. A friend of mine had breast cancer and upon her return home, i wanted to send her an arrangement of flowers. I searched on line what was available and didn't see what i wanted so i went to their shop. I went in and looked in their cooler and found just what i was looking for, a white basket arrangement with yellow, purple and white mixed flowers for $56. While the employee was finishing up with another customer, i pulled this arrangement out of the cooler and took it to the counter and filled out a card and inserted it into the basket. The employee came to help me and rang me up including checking to see what the extra charge was to deliver to northern lights. I paid and was very happy until i spoke to my Friend a week later and she thanked me for the "vase of flowers" that her description matched a $36 vase listed on their website. I called the shop that day and asked for a manager and when the gentlemen got on the phone i explained what had happened. He told me "So we made a mistake"! I then told him i would never make the mistake of spending another penny there. read more
