This is my go to in Shelburne when I'm home visiting friends and family. The coffee is pretty…read moredependably good as are most of the pastries. They have an art gallery and wine shop as well and the coffee shop is a pleasant place to work. Part of me likes the fact that they don't have wifi as it's kind of old fashioned but it can make it a bit hard as a place to work. I usually just get the regular black coffees and I like that they have a selection of roast levels here. Pricing isn't cheap but it's what I would expect for the area. I wish they had cold brew as the ice coffee is not the same or as good. My wife loved the maple latte and that they do half caff. She recently ordered a matcha that wasn't great but they said it was the end of the bag and gave us a free iced decaf latte instead which was very nice. With the service, location, and dependably pretty good coffee, I will continue to patronize this business.

I stopped here on a road trip traveling from Wisconsin to Maine. The coffee was exceptional- great…read moretaste, smooth, and the cafe was cute and had a nice vibe. The reason I'm giving a 2-star review is because there is a wood bench on the side of the building by the parking lot. I went to sit on the bench and it flipped up in the air like a teeter totter and it was scary! I could have seriously been injured but I was able to jump off right away. I also had my 10 pound dog with me when it happened. I went inside and told a gentleman behind the counter what happened. He was nice and came outside with me and explained that the bench often gets backed into by cars in the parking lot and then it gets moved out of place. I have no idea why, if this is clearly a known issue, that the bench is not stabilized for safety reasons. If this happens next time to a child or an elderly person, this could end in consequences or someone getting seriously hurt.

Starbucks has abysmal customer service and apparently has no control over their products or gift…read morecards from which they profit by selling them to third party vendors. They also claim they have no way to trace their gift cards by the gift card number. I received a Starbucks gift card for Christmas from my elderly mother. When I tried to use the card at a local Starbucks I was told the card was inactive and advised to call the customer service number on the back of the card. After an email to customer service and four different phone calls to customer service (which is what the email told me to do), I did not receive a resolution to the problem. I was told to go back to the place the card was purchased (in another state 12 hours away) or to tell my elderly mother to do so and dispute the charges. Since this is not possible I cannot use the card and my eighty year old mother has wasted $25. What a lousy business model and what ridiculous customer service! Buy your coffee locally. At least they can follow up if something goes wrong.

Update: They have improved big time! Gabby was very friendly and our drinks were excellent!…read more This review is for the Starbucks located inside the Market 32 by Price Chopper. We usually like Starbucks and have frequented locations all over the United States. I know this location is brand new so I should cut them a break but food safety should be something that is a high priority! Here's my complaint...the barista that took our order grabbed the cups from the inside with her four fingers deep inside our cups, the same ones she handled money with. I asked for new cups and what do you know the next barista did the same thing. I also saw the barista handle the trash without washing her hands after so needless to say I prefer my coffee to be free from dirty hands and would expect that would be something that was taught during training!
